Really delicious, simple, affordable sandwiches. The chicken sandwiches are so good and the fries are amazing. You get a lot of fries and they are always seasoned well and cooked perfectly. The chicken sandwiches are delicious and filling. Great atmosphere inside, getting to watch the magic happen in the kitchen while enjoying the cozy atmosphere.

First time visiting Bird in the Hand! What a delicious spot! So glad that we came here. We ordered the popcorn chicken, chicken tenders, salad, single smash burger, and the fresh cut fries. All of them were incredible and delicious. The hot and honey and spicy sauces were so good to dip the chicken in. Very family friendly. Loved the tunes playing in the speakers – created a fun vibe.

Fries were amazing and so were the tenders i had but 2 of the people in our group ordered the popcorn chicken and it looked underdone… both of them were sick the next day. I’ll be back for fries but not risking getting sick from raw chicken.

Wow, the hand breaded chicken tenders are amazing! The honey mustard dip is pretty mustardy but tasty. The seasoning on the fresh cut fries is fantastic. The green salad was nice and fresh. Lots of good things to say about the atmosphere as well, clean and sleek but a little funky. Very comfy seats, high quality. Great location next to the Elkhart Aquatic Center.

I heard the french fries at this place were awesome, thought I’d try them. They were NOT awesome. They are burnt, not to a crisp, but soggy burnt. Tried the pickles, couldn’t eat them, they held so much oil, it made me nauseous. The chicken strips are lacking in crispness and flavor. You can get better chicken strips at Arby’s. The sauces, well, the sauces are all spicy, no variation for those with a spice sensitive palette. Lastly, the tables were dirty as well as the chairs. We had to clean off our chairs in order to sit. Needless to say, we will not be back. I recommend people to try it anyway, maybe you will have a better experience……

The food is amazing! You know the fries are on point when you skip the salt, pepper, and the ketchup. The October Orchard smash burger with spiced apple chutney was fantastic. The chicken sandwich? Beats out both Chick Fil A and Popeyes. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable. Ambience is a mix of modern and cozy.
