Love this little local place for coffee drinks and food. A variety of unique flavored lattes. Today I had the rice krispy treat and my buddy had the honey graham. Both were very good. Also the chirizo and sausage burritos are delicious. Such a cool place.

One of my favorite places in Blue Springs! Not only do they have great coffee and delicious pastries, the staff goes above and beyond to provide a great experience. I’m primarily a black coffee drinker, but one of my favorite items is the seasonal lavender and honey latte with oat milk.

Scout is my HAPPY place! Always such a fun and enjoyable experience. The Scout team goes above and beyond to make you feel extra special, I often take their recommendations on coffee drinks! My current favorite is the pistachio latte with oat milk, runner ups being the blackberry mocha and honey lavender latte. My kids love the homemade protein balls and Scratch Bakery goodies particularly the sugar cookies and pop tarts, yum! The quiche is delightful if you’re looking for something hearty. They now roast their own beans! The coffee is smooth and delicious and their seasonal drinks are always a nice treat. They offer many alternatives and options if you have any dietary restrictions/preferences. Very creative minds behind it all. They have such big hearts and smiles, the energy is just so joyful and refreshing from the moment you walk in. It’s apparent that they take great pride in what they do and that they truly care for this community (it’s all about “Coffee and Kindness”)! Thank you, Scout Coffee, for being such an amazing part of Kansas City!

This coffee house is cozy. You can tell that the owners wanted to invite you into the old school, sit down and stay for awhile comfortable feeling. I love a novelty coffee house that does this because it’s the way it should be. The bad part of my experience was with the girl taking orders this morning at about 10 o’clock. I have a severe intolerance to artificial sweeteners because they cause bad headaches . All I asked was is there any in the syrups. Two ladies were impatiently beating around the question when another good soul chirped in, “yes they do” from the other side where you get your drinks. I was graced by her honesty and down to earth tone. Later when I went for a refill the one with the attitude didn’t accommodate. My advice to the owners is to hire employees with the gift of down to earth hospitality and genuine care for their customers. We want to feel the welcome in your smile. I think this place would be a hot spot for me anytime I come into town if that were the case. thank you.

It is so refreshing to stumble upon hole-in-the-wall eateries that make you feel right at home. The atmosphere at Scout Coffee is reminiscent of spending time with family and having an informal business meeting all in the same experience. The location is very ideal, as it lies just on the edge of the Blue Springs square. The size of the establishment is perfect for the small-business model and quaint atmosphere that the owners were apparently going for when scouting out locations. With all the major coffee conglomerates saturating the market and failing in consistency across the board, it is a blessing to see these less known establishments flourishing due to their truly hospitable and old-fashioned atmospheres. Will definitely be stopping in again when I am in the area and highly recommend that you do the same.

Stopped here as we are heading outside of town, I’m so glad we did. Ended up ordering a white chocolate mocha and a root beer latte. The root beer latte was beyond fabulous! Probably one of the best coffee drinks I’ve ever had! My husband ordered it, but I ended up stealing quite a bit of it. The white mocha was delicious as well. Coffee house was absolutely adorable. Located in an old house, but redone in a way that has lots of seating and cool areas to hang out. The vibrate Scout gave was very nice, welcoming, and creative. They offer variety of drinks, breakfast sandwiches, and pastries. You do have to go in to order, but they offer and pick up window for orders placed ahead of time. Went on a weekday, and it was not overly busy at all. Drinks were made quickly, and bistros were friendly. I would recommend this place to anybody who’s in the area or traveling through. Would go back again!

A house that has been turned into coffee shop. Very unique feel. They sell their own coffee and other KC roasters such as Oddly and Messenger. Very fun experience would have come here often if it were available back when I lived in Blue Springs. But good place to swing by when visiting the old man.

I can not recommend Scout Coffee enough. This is the best local coffee shop in the area. Their homemade pastries, breakfast burritos, and every coffee on the board is so good. The environment is so warm and I always get my best work done at Scout! You just feel at home here
