Came here the other night for dinner of 3. The pizza had very unique toppings and they were worth the combination. We all ordered 3 mini pizzas, one butternut squash, ricotta and cranberry, another fresh mushroom, manchego and herb and the last half pulled pork and mango and the other half mashed potato, bacon and scallion. The pulled pork and mango was wonderful, but the meat was lacking flavour. The mashed potato, bacon and scallion was very comforting and had a bit of warm spice. However, I feel like it could’ve used a bit of crunch. The one with squash was very autumnal and also comforting, and was perfect for a cosy evening. If you’re in or around Portland, come here for some of the best tasting and creative pizza I’ve ever had!

If you venture into Portland, Otto is a must stop. Bartender was fantastic. Pizza was out of this world, and the experience was memorable. It is a little bit of a walk from Old Port, (10 mins), but don’t worry, you won’t be disappointed.

I guess they are know for their mash potato pizza. I had it as a slice in the evening and it was clearly old but I could tell the mashed potato would make a creamy and delicious fresh pizza. We ordered the 4 cheese. It was thin and incredibly full of flavor. The pockets of ricotta spread across the top were fantastic. I also recommend the house made ranch dressing which is delicious and creamy. Staff was more than kind and helpful. So good!

I hate that I only feel inspired to review after less than satisfying service but here we are again. The staff was made up of impatient teenagers who didn’t want to work and they made that apparent. Bar room was run by a solo feller who made it clear that there was a ten minute wait and that was a problem for him. The slice bar service was more indifferent which was sadly more inviting than the solo lad on the other side’s anxiety attack polluted atmosphere. Otto was a treat about 10 years ago. Maybe I was just a drunken 20yo then but this was a bummer.

Otto has been a favorite of our since we first visited the original location on Congress Street years ago. We have now visited 4 of their sites and the pizza is universally fine. Some of them strike you first as being way out there, but once you taste them you can see the benefits of mixing non-traditional food items on good pizza crust. Our waitress this time was so friendly and very expressive – we speculated that she was an actress, but no, just a very animated young woman. One of the chefs came to the table to ask us if an unusual cheese variety was acceptable to us, very considerate. Our Caesar salad easily fed the two of us as a complement to our pizza.

The buffalo cauliflower worked better than the mushroom pie, which was pretty bland.

Cute little pizza place with three different locations in Portland. Their variety of pizza choices is awesome and it was delicious. They also have gluten free pizza that was pretty good.

Friendly server. But what pizza joint runs out of large pizzas on Sunday night? That’s ok, the small was fine. Very utilitarian seating and ambience but the pizza wasn’t bad and wasn’t expensive.

Paid $18 for a small pizza, and I’m almost positive whomever made it must have been underpaid, or generally no longer interested in working. My pizza was average at best, bacon, scallion, and mash potatoes is delicious, especially when it’s made correctly. I stopped while trying to consume to write this because I am disappointed that I paid this much and got the equivalent to Little Caesars. I have had a great version of this pizza, but today is not that day.
