Good Thai food in the Berry Hill area (west Nashville). Very good basil chicken stir fry. They are popular so there was a little wait and that’s alright. The delicious food is worth the wait. It’s inside the nice L&L market where they have Five Daughters bakery, a coffee place, an Hors D’oeuvres and wine place, a Boba Tea place among others. At around 7 pm, there were some ladies with their knitting group and two guys playing good music with their guitars. A spontaneous drop by that turned into a pleasant experience with my boyfriend.

The vibes and atmosphere here remind me of local Asian street restaurants. The food isn’t far off either. If in the mood for some good portions of Thai this is a good place to stop. Wish they offered a military discount. Either way good spot to stop.

Best Thai food in Nashville. You have to plan in advance, because the wait can be ~45 minutes, but it’s ALWAYS worth the wait. Highly recommend!

Enjoyed the pad kee mao (drunken noodles) and good fresh veggies. One complaint is way too much salt in the sauce. My tongue is still burning from it… And it’s not the spicy heat… Medium spice was just right for me.

I got a pickup order from here for the first time today, and I am so glad that I chose this place! Apparently, they have daily curries; today’s was panang. I confirmed that they don’t have fish sauce or dairy in them (the base is vegan!), and I got the panang with tofu (it comes fried, which is exactly what I wanted). The curry was so delicious, and it comes with white rice as a default. For someone who likes a little bit of spice, but not so much that I can’t taste my food, the curry was perfect. It’s creamy and slightly sweet, and the general flavor is to die for. I can’t wait to order from here again.

We stopped by the L&L Market. We heard Thai Ni Yom had delicious Thai food, but we were disappointed. We tried some spring rolls and were very disappointed. They were very overcooked, and the dipping sauce had a thick layer of crushed peanuts.

Tasted great – but barely any noodles… which, come on… that’s why we all order Thai food.

Thai Ni Yom is our favorite spot in Nashville to grab Thai food! Highly recommend ordering ahead (it sometimes takes awhile to make it since they’re a small shop). But the wait is worth it—we get take out at least 1-2 times a month.
