As usual restaurants closed early on weekends in this city so I decided to try Golden Chick Saturday. I weaseled in before closing time to get a chicken sandwich, but I was out of luck. David and the crew hooked me up with chicken tenders and mac n cheese.

The prices have gotten out of control and the portions have shrunk. This could be a great chicken place and I would come here often but not anymore. I ordered the spicy chicken strip meal. Almost $14 for a 6 piece. The strips were tiny and it took forever to get the order. I called customer service. Nothing. Could not get anyone on the phone. I will never eat here again.

First time tonight: I had the roasted chicken (dark meat), dirty rice and mac-n-cheese. The food was seasoned very well, chicken was tender and juicy. It was fresh and hot…so good! The drive-thru speaker was down but the young man who took my order at the first window was very pleasant. The young lady at the 2nd window, who handed me my food, was a sweetheart also. I’ll be back. Good job y’all!

We left Home Depot on Airline and stopped here for a great sandwich. We ordered a side order of jalapeno poppers for $3.99 but when we got home with our combos, there were no poppers in the bag. This was on receipt DT320 and we used drive thru. Very disappointed. Are you trying to ruin a great tasting experience?
