I’ll start by saying the beer is middle-of-the-road which is no big deal. However the food is exceptionally disappointing. We ordered $16 pouting which consisted of about 25-30 shoestring French fries, maybe 2 oz of brisket (not enough to say so), “housemade” beer cheese, which just tasted like it came from a wholesale can of liquid cheese that they may have mixed with a bit of their beer, and Sriracha. I would recommend trying the beer because it’s a brewery……PASS on the food.

A nice hometown vibe in a brewery. It was my first visit and I thought the environment was inviting. The staff was older and very personable. While I was visiting, a large wedding party (I’d guess around 30-40 people) arrived and the brewery quickly became loud and busy. The two staff members were very attentive to our table WHILE STILL SERVING the wedding party. On top of everything, the beer was fantastic. Definitely a great first impression. Highly recommended!

I CANNOT believe it has taken us 8 months to finally check out Open Road, we live just down the road and kept talking about going there. Finally we went. The bar was a bit full, a couple tables were filled. We ordered our beers at the bar and take out food. We tried the Blueberry Lemonade Mead, highly recommended! So tasty. We will be coming back again and again for the mead.

A nice little brewery. We went on a Friday evening and it was pretty slow. We were able to hang out on a nice little patio behind the brewery.

This was actually my third visit to OpenRoad over the past few years, but once again it was a comfortable one. I tried a flight of beers that were all very drinkable, and the atmosphere was friendly. It’s a cozy place, and they have a decent selection of regularly available beers. I didn’t try any of the food, but it looked good. I know I liked their smoked beer during my last visit, but I think their trippel was my favorite this time.

They were great. A little slow with being waited on so we had to go to the bar to get drinks but overall it was good. Those buns they use from the place next door are amazing. Wish they had salad options since I try not to eat deep fried food but my husband enjoyed his food.

Fantastic local pub. Menu is limited but excellently prepared. Beers are very good with a nice mix of styles. Something for every taste. Definitely a ‘don’t miss’.

Me and my cousins all came from out of town to Michigan for a wedding and our hotel told us this spot was amazing for their craft beers. We went in and the server gave us all a hard time on our ids because one of them were vertical. I am 23 years old, my sister 22, my brother 26, and my cousin 34 and the server refused to sell alcohol to any of us because our ids “were all different” we are from different states and we were just trying to have a good time here. They were not welcoming at all.
