I came by on a Friday afternoon to meet up some friends. Our server Natalia was courteous and cordial. We had some guacamole, cold beers, oysters, and some ceviche. It wasn’t busy at all, so we were able to talk and catch up without interruptions. Make sure to park in the back to avoid paying for parking on the street.

I was surprised by my experience. The food is substantially overpriced for what they offer. $30.00 for rice, beans, and shrimp. I’ve dined on better quality food and bigger portions at a steak house for the prices paid. The service was slow and unattentive. It was my friend and I, plus another large party that was there for drinks and probably appetizers. Service was slow. Bad idea to show up hungry.

Every time we go to Santa Ana this place is our go-to. Chips are super fresh and they had this creamy jalapeño salsa that was AMAZING. We’ve only been during the day but I imagine dinner and late night get busy. Super cute atmosphere and food is fresh and delicious. Great Margaritas.

Steak fajita plate was excellent. The Paloma was good. Never had a Paloma with orange juice along with other ingredients. Will stick with ruby red grapefruit paloma. Last, the paloma was a little pricey.

My experience going to Hectors wasn’t pleasant. They serve beers in plastic cups and gt warm super quick. The bathroom was super dirty and it was really expensive for what they served and the service was horrible. I dont recommend going. It’s unprofessional. The shrimps were tiny and I dont not recommend. It’s not worth what they charge. One star is way more then they should receive

So we went to dinner last night got there around 6:00 the banda gets there around 8:00 starts playing and they keep asking you what songs you want to hear after a while when you’re ready to leave the banda tells you that you owe them $250.00 they never tell you if you want to hear a song we are charging you! So management needs to do something it’s not right they don’t let you leave till you pay them that’s not right this makes me not want to go there anymore not cool so watch out if you ask for a song
