First I’m from Chicago. While the pizza “looked nice” it’s definitely “dominoes/pizza hut deep dish.” Pictures say it all. Nothing was thoroughly cooked. Had to put it in the oven just to be able to eat it. And it was during lunch on a Thursday. Embarrassing. Definitely NOT Chicago pizza.

They are very new and I hope they figure some things out. I’ve been waiting for months for them to open. I was really interested in their take on a Chicago thin crust. We tried the Chicago supreme and the Bears on the thin crust. We also tried the Greek salad and the Chicago fire deep dish. The salad was not a $13 salad. If it was $8.00 it would be on the verge of being over priced. The thin crust disappointed. Very little sauce and undercooked. The cheese wasn’t caramelized and the dough was chewy. It needed another few minutes in the oven. However the wait to pick it up was already 20 minutes past the scheduled time. It improved a little when I reheated it the next day and gave it a good bake. The deep dish had potential but I am not sure it is close to Chicago style. More like a pan pizza. Again the balance of sauce to ingredients was off. If you are looking for Lou’s, Genos or pequads in Texas…keep looking. I will go back to try their Italian beef and Chicago dogs. They have Vienna beef, which is the only one to use for a Chicago dog! However all their prices are elevated. 5.00 for a Chicago dog compared to under 4.00 at portillios. Their Italian beef starts at 10.00 while portillos is under 8.00. I know this is a smaller business but the pricing is consistently high for every item and that would be fine if the quality matched. They have some room for improvement and I will most likely try them a few more times down the road.

We ordered thin style three topping pizza. The meat toppings are definitely better quality than most of your pizza places! Flavor of sauce of sauce and cheese very good! I will pay the extra money for better quality and a great pizza! We will be back!!

First time trying Chicago Deep Dish. We walked in and ordered the Chicago Supreme 16″, Chicago Fire 16″, the Pesto Garlic Cheese bread (4 large pieces), and a 6″cheese pizza for the kid. Only a 20-minute wait for being made on the spot. Seating is limited (6 small round chairs). All three orders were great! Cooked very well and loaded with toppings. The Chicago Fire was my favorite. It is pretty spicy but not overwhelming. The Supreme was also very good. The marinara that comes with the chees bread was cold, not sure it was supposed to be but also tasted good. Price was a little steep for pizza, $70 total, but for the 6 of us, we would have been fine with one 16″ and the cheese bread. 2 slices were very filling. Overall, a great new spot we will splurge on from time to time! Sorry, there were no photos, we were hungry and ate it before we thought about taking pictures

Didn’t think it was done well. Seemed reheated. Very little sauce which is def not chicago style. Cheese and toppings were burnt.

If you like deep dish pizza, then you’ll love this place. Was trying a new place for lunch and was not disappointed. The owner is very nice. This is more of a takeout restaurant than a sit-down restaurant with only a few seats inside. It’s hard to find good pizza anymore. I will definitely come back and recommend this place to others.

A decent pizza, but nothing about it is Chicago deep dish. Sauce on the bottom, which resulted in the crust being soft and pliable. Toppings were not plentiful, although the sausage was pretty good. The most Chicago like trait was the corn meal dusted on the bottom. Willing to try thin thin crust in the future, but the deep dish does not remind me of home.
