Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn’t help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we’re still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

As a Michigander, I’ve only heard of this place in stories and legend. It didn’t disappoint! Big fan of a mustard base rather than mayo. The sandwich was compact and sizeable. Onion rings were solid. Spicy ketchup is a plus.

Don’t risk it for the chicken biscuit. This place is sketchy at best. The longest drive thru waits of any place I have ever been. I have waited at least 30 minutes every time and somehow the food still isn’t fresh. Sonic is somehow better than this Whataburger.

This isn’t a review just for THIS Whataburger. It’s really for all of them.

First visit ever. Ordered the Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich and the spicy chicken sandwich. Temp and texture of the chicken was good, BBQ sauce was flavorful but the sandwich was soaked in it. Spicy had heat but lacked flavor. Sadly not even in the same league as other FF restaurants. Granted, this is first and foremost a burger joint but most FF offer chicken too. Unsweet tea was old and had that weird rotten watermelon taste that happens when it sits too long. Fries were hot and crispy and the perfect amount of salt. Ketchup in containers was great but if they’re giving away 5 with every meal when you probably need max 2 is costing the company money and clogging up my kitchen’s junk drawer. Overall the people were very friendly and would go back for the staff but maybe not the food.

My experience at this Whataburger was not great. First, I received the wrong order which was corrected by an employee. Second, 2 of the 4 ketchup packets had holes in them. Three, the new burgers were room temperature to almost cold when received.

I ordered a Cobb salad and triple meat burger. I received (and was charged for) a dry single burger. I didn’t get my dressing for the salad nor did I get utensils to eat said salad. This TN Whataburger food doesn’t look or taste like anything I ate in TX for years. This is my third and last time wasting time and money there.

Ordered ahead online and it said our food would be ready by 10:31-10:33. There was Noone in the restaurant and 2 cars in the drive through. We went in at 10:33 and was told it would be 10 minutes. I ordered 1 more burger at the counter and the family decided to just eat inside since we were already waiting. Every table in the restaurant was filthy and my wife cleaned us a table. 10 min past and still no food. Not even the Jr burger I ordered at the counter. Note 2 employees also got into a dispute in front of me at the counter. Finally got food at 10:50

Busy place but moved well with the amount of traffic. This is my first time eating Whatsburger and what a treat. Burgers remind me of the old Wendy’s before they changed colors and the fries were a mixture between old Wendy’s and McDonald’s. I got the double cheeseburger meal with a chocolate shake. I would recommend the single because the double was more than enough for me and I weigh 240lbs. If you eat the triple you need Jesus. The girl at the drive though was quite pretty and courteous. Overall a pleasant experience and probably takes the cake for the best fast food traditional burger in Tennessee(I still do love Krystals). But thanks again Whataburger for a solid lunch

Worst run whataburger I’ve ever been to which is surprising considering most of them are quick and have great service.
