Honestly this was the best of the best of experiences. They were attentive and had the absolute best customer service. The food was too absolutely die for!!!! We brought our entire family there and ate in and was seriously so unbelievably impressed. The pictures of the food look just like what you get and the taste is seriously the best Cajun I’ve had!

Forget any of the bad reviews that are on here this is the best place to get some Cajun seafood!! The flavor is amazing, the seafood box comes with plenty of flood and plenty of flavor !! Food is good, the problem is with the customer service. the woman decided to answer and put me right on hold so I started to drive from LR to NLR! I said let me see if I can make it there before she comes back, I made it there went in she was hanging out with family! I’m still on hold, I place my order and come outside and still on hold! Delicious food! I travel quite a bit and rarely stop for cajun. I’m glad I did. The blackened salmon was cooked perfectly, seasoned perfectly and sitting on a bed of perfectly seasoned and cooked pasta. I asked for a little bit of extra heat and it wasn’t overwhelming but just right.

The food USED to be really good here. I could always count on getting a delicious bowl of gumbo from Mr. Cajun’s. Even though the portion isn’t the greatest for the price, it was consistent. It’s been a while since I’ve visited this restaurant and the quality, flavor, taste and presentation of the food has definitely changed. Rice is supposed to ACCOMPANY the gumbo, not consume it. I basically paid $11 for a bowl of rice with a very light colored, bland “gumbo” on the side with one piece of shrimp. I understand food costs are rising and that effects pricing, but a customer should never feel as though they’re being cheated. As a Cajun restaurant if you can’t get your gumbo right, it shouldn’t be offered that day. We also ordered the jambalaya pasta and have the same regards to portions and bland flavor. Overwhelming pasta, little ingredients and barely there sauce.

We fell in love today with Mr. Cajun’s Kitchen!! Words can’t express well enough how delicious the food is but I’m gonna try and of course the staff is awesome! The Crawfish Jambalaya Pasta was to die for, the Surf and Turf with Rice was to die for, the Cajun Red Beans and Rice with Jalapeno cornbread was to die for, the Gumbo was to die for and let’s not forget the homemade Crackers and Drinks. We had the Voodoo drink and wow it’s good! Everyone go try this food because you’re definitely missing out if you don’t! We’re already planning our next visit! Thanks for the great service and food! We absolutely love having y’all here in our community!
