Whenever we have a craving for Chinese we order from here. Food is always consistent and hot, not greasy or cold. Just good comfort Chinese food that is always hot. I love the Crab Rangoons, their fried rice, Singapore noodles, chicken on a stick and their soups. I have never had a bad meal from Fu Ying. So if you have a craving for Chinese, try this place out.

My girlfriend and I ordered food on DoorDash and when the driver said the app was down I went to pick up the food and the lady worker there wouldn’t give me the food because I didn’t have any proof. So I had to call my girlfriend so she could come prove that it was here and the lady still wouldn’t give her the food and was extremely rude to the point where my girlfriend cried. Would never recommend this place to anyone. Even a person on the street agreed that this place is awful.

The owner would not acknowledge my presence, and I waited for 10 minutes. There’s a barricade of tables around the counter, so you can’t get any closer. When my food was finally bagged and ready, instead of giving it to me, the owner proceeded to ask everyone in line behind me. What they were there for. When one person said he was there to place an order, she proceeded to take his entire order before giving me my food. Also, there was a weird pressure to pay in cash. The food was OK at best. Definitely won’t be going back because of the rude treatment.

This food was inedible, and smelled absolutely repulsive. When I picked it up, planning on paying with a credit card the woman was bizarrely eager to find a different way I could pay and I ended up writing a check. I would use zero stars if I could – I will NEVER eat here again.

Chicken wings were extra extra well done. I took one bite of the chicken lo main and Chicken had to be spoiled!!! In the trash it went. Vandalia really needs a good Chinese restaurant. Owners were nice but the push you to pay cash, to the point you know its for tax reasons.
