Food was pretty good. First time eating here and the family that runs the restaurant were nice. I loved the samosa and the garlic naan. Only wish the lamb curry portion was more, otherwise it’s still yummy. The chicken was okay, seemed like something I could’ve made at home. Overall I enjoyed the food.

The food was a good quality, proportion and flavor. The mango lassi tasted like it had real mangoes and was sweet and creamy. The samosas were crispy on the outside, while being moist and delicious on the inside. All our dishes were tasty treat.

I was in the mood for some Indian food so Colo me surprised when I saw Ekams near me when I looked up Indian food! The restaurant is connected to a gas station but don’t let that fool you! It’s a nice little place with great service to boot and feels like a GOOD added on restaurant to the gas station. The restaurant itself was pretty spacious, easy to move around in and very clean on the inside and out. The service, who was one friendly lady I HOPE was not working alone was quick with service, polite, and very nice to talk to. The food was excellent on all ends. I got some hardy chicken Tika Misala, rice, Samosas, and naan bread woth this great chickpea dish and ALL of it was scrumptious, fresh and tasty as all heck. No complaints, Ekams is a great restaurant despite being attached to the gas station and I hope to visit it one again in the future!

Ordered 2 chicken dishes (masala and curry), extra rice, and 2 garlic Naan. Both dishes were subpar at best. The sauces seemed to be watered down, and they lacked depth and flavor. Naan was ok, but imo overpriced, $2.99/piece is pretty high compared to the many other mom and pop Indian restaurants we have gone to. Basmati rice was very plain and lacked fragrance and depth as well. Overall, it left us unsatisfied. This place is out of my way, so we likely won’t return since everything was lacking, and they also did not have any goat dishes, only lamb. My recommendation is to go to Jay’s instead, otherwise Spices on the other end of town.

A smell similar to moth balls hit us as we entered the door. There were annoying beeps from an older woman compulsively smashing the buttons on gambling machines just inside the door. The sound effects of the gambling machines was an unwelcome nuisance that lasted the entire time we were there, which was nearly an hour. We had butter chicken and a lentil dish with an order of naan. The curries were lacking and somewhat bland, the naan was fine but the rice that was served with them was old and had clearly been sitting in a rice cooker for hours, it was gloppy and had browned sections where it was sitting on the bottom of the rice cooker. I understand free rice with curry dishes is new, but since it took 30+ minutes to prepare our dishes, it would have been nice to have some fresh cooked rice instead of the old rice from the cooker.

Delicious! We ordered two Indian dishes to split, butter chicken and mutter paneer. Both were delicious. The garlic naan and rice were perfect. Our little kids split a burger with fries and were happy with it. The chai was also tasty!

Worst excuse for indian food i have ever had .Food was not cooked with real Indian spices the portions are so small for the $ 45.00 i paid for 2 dishes & 3 bread & she did not want to give me rice with what they call karma ,the lady was so very rude and disrespectful and told me I had no idea about the value of a American dollar. I’m a professional driver so I have ate Indian food all over the USA . Her husband had to come & defuse the situation.

Located in the gas station building, it’s a bit out of the way. Home style food is quite good but a very linited menu. I had curry pakora with rice. This is a one person operation so there’s a little wait, but worth it. As is the times, it’s on the pricey side with just one, larger, on the crispy side naan as an extra. I had to ask for a glass of water. Drinks are limited. One doesn’t come here for the atmosphere. Parking in front is a bit confusing with both spots marked and no parking message over the lines. Tip jar. She takes credit cards.

Oh man, I never expected to find such delicious indian food at a gas station! The Mrs. and I have been here twice now, and will visit again. It tasted just like she made it fresh from scratch just for us! Butter chicken, butter paneer, tikka masala, chicken curry, pakoras, samosas, and hot fresh buttered naan! It was too delicious to not finish every bit!
