Awesome menu, great prices! We had the Arancini for an appetizer during happy hour and it was delish! I highly recommend the Korean Short Rib Tacos. Wow. Nice patio and easy seating for our large party.

High quality food and the service was great. Very nice and relaxed outdoor seating with live music from a highly talented local musician. My burger was one of the best ever and sweet potato fries were outstanding. No ordinary burger – very high end quality. My GF had the shrimp tacos and they were excellent. Generous portions in general and a good selection of beer on tap.

Public House 701 was a happy 4th of July surprise. We were seated promptly for our 615 reservation even though it was very busy. They warned us the kitchen would be slow but the food never seemed particularly slow.

Yummy stuff! had the Arancini risotto balls, super savory with house made marinera and chicken and waffles, just right amount of heat, crispy outside and juicy inside! so good. great cocktails and reasonable.

Really amazing place here. Great food and wonderful service. Server was one of the best waitresses we’ve experienced, very articulate and knowledgeable about not only their menu but food in general. My 14 yo son even said “she deserves a big tip.” Highly recommend chicken and waffles, salmon and brisket pasta. I’m sure they’ll do very well.

I went at the beginning of July. Tried having a date night. Wanted to try this place. However, we got there 20 minutes before it opened. When seated had to ask about their steak night special. When asked the price was told it was $54. Decided to still try something else. Ordered and 10 minutes later was told from 4-530pm we were only allowed to order appetizers and drinks. I told the waitress this should be conveyed on the website or some where. She said it was on the board outside. It was not.

Walked in on whim looking for light fare and a drink. Sat at the bar. Pleasantly surprised!This could be our new go-to restaurant for easy going, well priced food. Had deviled eggs, side salad that we very generously proportioned, and fish sticks that my husband and I shared. Food was GREAT! Atmosphere was perfect and we felt good about the prices. I never write restaurant reviews, but this was good food, good prices, good atmosphere and we will be back. Just what Durango needed!

Best restaurant in Durango! Amazing food, craft cocktails, a comfortable, shaded, spacious dog-friendly patio, and the overall great vibe made this our go-to hangout place this summer. The house made pesto is the best I’ve ever had, and the buratta burger is not to be missed. The owner, Connie, is always around to add a friendly personal touch.

So I saw many excellent reviews for this place and was excited to try. I was a bit disappointed. The arancini was delicious, the cauliflower tacos have potential but they are just not quite there. The drinks were lack luster. As for the entrees my wife had Mac and cheese which wasn’t anything special. I had the fish and chips and it was terrible. Small odds and ends pieces, wrongly cooked and tasteless batter. I understand you are new and working out your kinks. I will be happy to give you time and come try again in a few months. Public House 701 in Durango, Colorado is a must-visit restaurant. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the service is impeccable. I highly recommend the salmon, which is cooked to perfection and served with an exquisite homeade maple sauce and colorful green beans. The chicken and waffles are also exceptional, with crispy and juicy chicken and light, fluffy waffles with a tasty homeade maple syrup on the side. I requested dipping sauces for the chicken and they brought me a spicy honey maple and spicy homeade buffalo. Looking for some fresh flavors, feel free to give them a shot and you will not be disappointed.
