Let me start off by saying the food was delicious! Seasoned very well! Only thing I don’t like is the ordering part. It’s barely any interaction with the waiters. Everything is online! Other than that the food was very very good. I was so shocked . I would def come back. It’s very affordable . I wish they would offer substitutes. I had to order a side of season rice because my main dish came with white rice .

Ordered from here on UberEats and was very pleased with the food. After reading reviews, I decided on the Tripleta, Pastelillos, and a Flan. I was not disappointed with any of the items but the Tripleta was the star — the bread was fresh and crispy, the beef and pork was well seasoned and not over cooked, and the sweetness from the mayo ketchup perfectly balanced the savory flavors from the beef, pork, and onions. The Pastelillos were good but pretty heavy. And the flan was tasty but I wasn’t a huge fan of the mango coulis topping — it was a bit too tart for my pallette.

The food was taste and flavorful. Atmosphere was great. Indoor and outdoor dining. Drinks were delicious. Problem I had was with the online ordering. You could ONLY place your order online and not with the wait staff. They only brought out your food or drink. Even if you wanted water, they directed you to a spot where you got your own glass and poured your own water. I didn’t like that because too many people’s hands touching the container. I didn’t like staring at my phone and placing orders on the phone. Where isnthe human interaction? If I wanted to place an order on my phone, I could’ve stayed home and ordered with Doordash!

Very authentic and what could be better than getting some Boricua food before heading to a Nats game. The coffee es muy rico! The arroz con gandules is as good as you’ll get anywhere and los plantanos con bacalao was marvelous! Viva Puerto Rico !!

Wow! That’s all I can say after experiencing this amazing place. The food was absolutely delicious, and the service was top-notch, deserving of a 5-star rating. If I had the option, I would give them even more stars. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an exceptional dining experience.

Delicious food and cool atmosphere. I highly recommend the mofongo with shrimp and Mousse de Parcha! Gluten free options 🙂 They use toast for orders and payment, so be sure to come with your phone.

La Famosa has to be one of the most underrated restaurants in DC. The food is prepared so fresh and is absolutely delicious and beautiful every time. The staff and the restaurant vibes are immaculate, reggaeton playing all day every day. The mofongo in all forms is hands down best in the city.

The “carne frita” (fried pork belly) was super small and mostly fat, almost no meat. That was not definitely what Latin know as “carne frita” – as stated on their menu.

The pastellitos were bomb. Cheese balls were also awesome but I preferred to have them to not have sauce and have the option of the other sauces to dip (the other sauces that come with the pastellitos). Pastries are bomb too! Lovely atmosphere and cool modern design.
