This place is nice and the staff is friendly. We ordered the Mayu and Karagge ramen which were both good but not great. If you are a local and looking for a place to pop in and get a bowl of ramen, by all means do it. If you’re from out of town and you’re looking for an excellent ramen shop, unfortunately this place is not it. The “ramen eggs” were completely hard-boiled instead of soft-boiled and the broth lacked the richness that excellent ramen has.

First time visit her with my daughter. The service was great. Very friendly. I order the veggie Ramen noodles. It was excellent. Light tasting and very fresh flavor. The takoyaki was delicious with a sweet sauce. The gyoza chicken dumplings were good. My daughter had the miso Ramen noodles. I look forward to coming in to dine again in the future.

one of the best ramen spots i’ve been to! the restaurant is short of staff but the service is great nonetheless. i got the mayu ramen and the black garlic in the broth was rich. the ramen was al dente and the chashu melts in your mouth. the miso ramen was also excellent. my only complaint i have is that the egg’s yolk was not runny but that’s okay! i will be coming back again

Very nice and small mom and pop restaurant. The ramen was very delicious The owners even come out and check on you to make sure everything is okay I highly recommend eating here if you like ramen they do open a little later in the evening I think after 3:00 or 4:00 p.m. but it was delicious.

Excellent ramen spot. The hours are a little scattered so plan accordingly but the food is both excellent and authentic. The atmosphere is simple with galvanized metal and One Piece posters on the walls. They also have a decent selection of canned and bottled Japanese beverages.

We ordered 4 different ramens. The broth was very salty. The sliced pork was very thick and dry. The egg was definitely over cooked. We ended throwing most of the portions away. The server and chef was very friendly. Too bad the food was subpar.

Keep in mind you’ll spend 20 dollars minimum due to tax plus tip, which you know, part of the experience, it’s like a 1 hour and a half movie, which is the time it takes to usually finish a big bowl, everything is made from scratch and done by authentic Japanese staff, cool.

This is my favorite Ramen spot in rva. Their chef is super friendly and from Japan. My go-to appetizer is their crab croquet. Their soy braised egg in their ramen is especially good.
