I absolutely love the vibe of this restaurant. It was very family like and welcoming. Plus who doesn’t love the idea of a seafood buffet? However this place was not what you’d expect. Our first trip to the buffet The fish and hush puppies were cold. The garlic butter shrimp were gooey and cold. The popcorn shrimp were stale and cold. The salad bar was good but not a lot of choices. They had a whole tray of Ketchup and tartar sauce on the buffetnto scoop out. I’ve never seen that before. Our second trip they had started putting warm food out but still stale. My guess the microwave? The only dessert was a cherry pie fresh out the can. Plus our drinks were flat. My fave thing was the cherry tomatoes. They were so juicy and fresh! So not worth 19.99 per person plus drinks and tip.

The buffet had fresh food and lots of options. Fried squash, Mac n cheese, slaw, highlighted a good selection. There was a fresh salsa bar and 4 dessert options.

Waited too long to check out. Caisher is also a manager. She wears several hats. Understaffed place. Food was well prepared. Friendly waitress. Waitress also had too many tables to wait. Waited almost to the end of the meal to receive a refill on tea. The dessert was limited choices. I didn’t eat dessert. Paid $16.99 for buffet, which included tea. It’s a bit pricey for what choices you get. I think $14.99 would be a better price.

Was very disappointed the chicken was chicken tenders the onion rings or dry and hard the deviled crab was hard the only thing I ended up eating was the shrimp and the macaroni and cheese price was too high for the quality of the food

Buffet price is too expensive for a very small selection of food. I would rather go to Mutt’s, Big Boys or Golden Corral and the food taste better there than here. Service is okay though.

My family met there to enjoy a meal. Our waitress was great…even the one that filled out drink glasses was great… both had very happy demeanor. We loved it.The food was delicious. I was reliving my past as I used to come to Black’s back in the eighties. Still a great experience.

Black’s Seafood or as I grew up calling it, is just as GREAT as it was when I went there with my family in the 70’s and 80’s.
