First no open signs were on, we were the only ones here, didn’t get cheese curds as ordered, only one ranch (paid for 2) onion rings were massive and soggy, asked for mustard, got honey mustard, and both tender meals, fries and curds were so dark and tasted burnt (I’m guessing due to old oil.) They were out of cherry coke and ice cream sandwiches. For $27 I got to take my kids home and make them dinner.

The staff is always nice and the ice cream order is usually right on. Counter top and above look pretty clean, just old. There isn’t much upkeep though. Signs are missing. Paint is chipping, floor is sticky, really hate that. And they are often out of items and low on staff. Lot of places are like that. I can’t help but wonder why they don’t go to just a drive up and hand out.

For so many years my family and I been going to this place to get our ice cream fixed. Never once we had any issues with our food orders. But last night was a different night! We ordered our usual, and as they handed our ice creams, right away I noticed something different with mine. I can smell the spoilness of the chocolate fudge from my ice cream. I tasted it, and there it is, it taste awful that I needed to return what I ordered. The after taste lingered in my mouth! I asked my husband if his is okay, he said his ice cream tasted funky too. Sucks to see that this Dairy queen location seems to be like going down the drain! I will never come back at this location, I’d rather go to North Liberty or take to IC to cure our Dairy queen fixed!

This place is a dump! Absolutely filthy and would never step foot back in there. Go there to eat lunch at 2:00 in the afternoon. Wait almost a half an hour for our order just to find out that the grill had not even been turned on all day yet. How do you not know your grill is not turned on at 2:00 in the afternoon? Seems to be a bunch of kids running this place with zero management. Stay away from this Dairy Queen.

This is literally the worst chicken strip basket I have ever gotten from a dairy queen. The gravy is cold. That is just a single slice of untoasted un buttered bread. The chicken is low quality, as are the fries. There is not a single redeeming quality to this meal. I have never been so disappointed in a dairy queen in my life and will never go back

Guys, omg, please don’t go here. Go to the riverside Rd location. This location is so dirty, half the signs were down, workers were in pj’s, didn’t know how to make my ice cream in a cup so I got it like this (see photo), so many flies, it was just so bad. I should’ve left, ugh.

We visited on Father’s Day around 1pm. First of all there were 4 employees there for an empty store. There were no cakes available. There are no prices listed anywhere. We got burgers, fries and Buster Bars (6pack) for 2 people and our bill was $53!! We could have had a much better meal at a nice resaurant for this price. The grill had not even been turned on and they did not tell us this until after we ordered. We live 5 minutes from there and our food was cold when we arrived home. The restaurant looks and just feels very dirty. I am really surprised that this place is even open. Wish there was a manager to talk with, there were only kids working there. Worst experience we’ve ever had dining out for fast food. My husband is still upset about the whole experience for his Father’s Day treat ruined. Won’t go back there again.

This is the first review I’ve ever posted so this tells you how bad of an experience this place provides. I’ve been their twice as I love other Dairy Queen locations. Both times nobody responded to the drive through speaker. Pull up to the window and a group of employees staring at their phones obviously ignore me for at least a minute or two. When they finally respond I get attitude for trying to give them business. Whoever runs the franchisee selection process needs to take a look at this owner because they obviously do not care, their employees certainly do not.

They were out of chocolate ice cream. I wanted a chocolate extreme the kid at the counter kept saying chocolate brownie. I am not even sure I got brownies. I wanted cheesecake added not sure I got any of that. Signs were missing. It looks like it is ran by a bunch of 18 year olds. Will not be going back there. Over priced for a place that doesn’t know anything and doesn’t know how to make anything in a cup.
