I thoroughly enjoy the rolling up my own spring rolls at Vietnam Garden and they’ve been kind enough to modify my tofu orders for me. I have almost always had pleasant experiences, both with to-go orders and dine-in orders, as well as with large birthday celebrations. Their bubble tea is fantastic (both the thai tea and mango are wonderful) and they have a great selection of soups that many of my friends have enjoyed tremendously. On very rare occasions I have had some less-than-stellar service but it has been so rare that it’s never kept me from returning. I cannot name a single bad food experience I’ve had there.

My wife and I eat here about every week. The staff know us and they are always right on time with our order. I’m pretty simple to please, I really like their Pho Soup and get it just about every time I go there. Their pork soft spring rolls are really great and if your watching your weight, Vietnamese food is an awesome way to enjoy a night out without packing on the lbs. Thumbs up to the staff, they work really hard! When friends come to town this is my “go too” place to take them. I’ve never had a bad meal!

Broadstreet in Richmond is a fantastic place for food lovers. I had been to multiple Thai and Vietnamese restaurants but I liked Vietnam Garden the most. It has a very good ambiance, friendly staff and they have a full menu for vegetarians which is very rare. The food was very delicious and the quantity is pretty amazing. I ordered Fried Vegetable Dumpling, Tamarind Soup and couple of main course dishes. I will go back there soon enough.

Our waiter was England and he was excellent! We had the yellow noodles with vegetables, orange chicken, tamarind short ribs, and the appetizer platter! Everything was literally so delicious, the flavors are truly amazing! We will definitely be visiting more often! Vietnam Garden is a gem amongst all the competition in the same shopping center!!

This was one of our favorite restaurant in town because they had an extensive menu with close to three pages of vegan dishes we could enjoy. We recently visit and learned that it’s under new ownership. The menu placed in front of us wasn’t even titled Vietnam Garden but it was called something different. I guess they changed names too? They completely omitted the vegan menu! We will not be returning. I hope they know they are excluding a loyal group of customers by removing all the vegan dishes. Lame.

Great waiter, nice decor, good food. I got the lunch special which was a perfect amount for $8.50. Comes with choice of fresh garden roll or egg roll, choice of 3 soups and a variety of menu items with choice of meats or tofu so you could create a different combination every visit. If you are super hungry you might want to get a regular entrée for more food. Tea was excellent. An additional benefit is that it is next door to the New Grand International food market so you can get delicious ingredients for your next meal. But you should eat first so you don’t buy too much!

Great restaurant. I normally get their hot pots or curried beef. I’ve never had a problem with the food. I gave this place 4 stars because the wait staff needs a serious overhaul. The only competent waiter is the chubby gay asian fellow. The rest have problems grasping English, which is understandable for an ethnic restaurant but still can be better. There isnt much of a team ethic for the waitstaff. I swear everytime I order a bubble tea, the owner who normally works the bar makes it, and it sits there while the rest of the waitstaff ignores it like a flock of seagulls while our waiter is busy with something else. Other than the service, great restaurant.

I like this place been coming for years but this visit is like ok and so so, we seat down and waited for a long time (two tables was full not many ppl at all) waiter came back ask what we want to order but we didn’t even got the menus or water to drink. So it was like new waiters I have never seen before too. But the owner or the manager was there he didn’t even come by and take care of us. It was like just no service. I hope the food is still good we just ordered

Best place for Vietnamese food in Richmond. Other places may be more popular but their food isn’t on the same level. Their Bun Bo Hue is the best, even better than some restaurants in California. For starters, you should tell them to leave out the pig feet and do non spicy.
