I’m not a big sushi guy but I’m learning. Came for lunch and it was not busy. The food is really good with lots of flavor and they served us several dishes compliment on the house. It was a nice treat. Friendly service with a lot of interesting choices.

Decent food, bad service.Place had two large parties which may have led to bad service, so willing to give it another try someday. All you can eat (as well as a la carte) and the rolls were in half orders which lets you try a few different ones.sashimi was fine as well and they had hot items offered as well.

We have had TWO bad experiences here. After our first, we decided to try again, thought maybe it would be better being that they are pretty new. However, again, the sushi was messy. The tuna was beige….super odd. They served my kids avocado rolls with rotten avocado parts mixed in and both chefs stared at the rolls, when we sent them back, with the look of “yeah and?” on their faces. They seemed irritated that we sent them back, rather than apologetic. Even the roll cuts were crooked and uneven. Overall, really unrefined, poor quality, and sloppy. We won’t return….like, ever…never.

My wife and I had a great experience. The chef greeted us and explained each piece he had served us, I really appreciated knowing what each piece was. I have never had this done by a sushi chef before.

They are so new that they’d just gotten their liquor license the day before, and not all of the beer inventory had arrived yet. No big deal. They offered me something that was very generous, instead of what I’d asked for. The pieces of meat on top of the sushi, as well as the sashimi, were very generous. Their Spider Roll and Salmon Skin salad were awesome. They make their own sauces (dipping and otherwise), and I had to remark on how unique and delicious they were. My daughter doesn’t like wasabe, so the chef was very careful to ask which orders were for her. He didn’t miss a beat. EVERYTHING they served us — and we had a feast! — was excellent. And we were given some wonderful “on the house” tidbits. I’m taking a date there for dinner two days from now.

I live in Utah, so it’s rare that I get a chance to have Toro. I came here with my family after getting married, and the food is so delicious. I tried the Jalapeño peppers, tonkotsu ramen, salmon and toro sushi as well as a spicy tuna hand roll. My relatives got other food, and there wasn’t much left over. It’s the freshest sushi I’ve had in a while. Customer service is friendly.

This is a very poorly ran group. They fail to uphold their obligations and have avoided us to the point of a lawsuit. We are currently trying to have them tried for fraud. I would not trust such a shady company.
