Adrian greeted us with a friendly smile and let us know all about the pizzeria. We were especially excited to try the flavored Tito’s which Adrian informed us he makes!!! Yay!! Everything was delicious!! Loved the atmosphere! Adrian was very attentive and made sure we had what we needed! We will be back!!!

I’m a little disappointed, the pizza isn’t bad but it lacks the wow factor that they had with the previous menu of over the top burgers and shakes. I understand that restaurants need to keep things fresh but the new thin crust pizza is frankly only average to good in my opinion. I have enjoyed the speakeasy and I will probably visit that again but I won’t be having dinner there.

Fantastic service and great atmosphere. I preferred the food before. Had the gothem pizza. Crust was very crisp/firm, not traditional NY style that I like. Toppings made it a little watery.

I learned about Forty Deuces while reading a Columbus based magazine this morning. Anyway, I decided to visit on the same day. Why? Because of the pictures and what I read about the restaurant. This establishment has beautiful appeal from the outside in and the inside out (intentional). The moment I walked up to it I was taken back of its appeal from the outside. When I stepped in I was blown away! The pictures in the magazine are beautiful but the pics do it no justice. Furthermore, the customer service is outstanding! Our server was rather patient and explained what the restaurant’s menu offers. My first “bite” of this place certainly will not be my last! The first made me say, “Wow oh my…this is really good!” Needless to say, the taste of the pizza is parallel to the service! Please do yourself a favor and treat yourself to Ivan Kane’s Forty Deuces!

Awesome pizza that fed three hungry dudes. They did a 50/50 topping choice with no attitude which was nice. My boys said the homemade chocolate chip cookie was one of the best they have had. I would have given 5 stars but I can’t stand paper straws.

Most places don’t call themselves a New York Style Pizzeria because it is a high standard to uphold. Either the owner has never been to New York or has never tried their pizza here because it literally resembles a frozen pizza thrown in the oven. As an avid enjoyer of New York style pizza, I can confidently say the pizza at Forty Deuce is nowhere near imitating New York style pizza. You can tell the ingredients are very low quality/mediocre. Normally, I would not be this critical, but for $35 a pie the quality of the pizza does not remotely match the price point. There are many pizzerias in Columbus that offer amazing and unique pies for cheaper prices.

Pizza in the true New York style! Chloe, our server, was exceptionally personable and took the time to really take care of our rather large party. I recommend you stop in for a slice…and be sure to ask for Chloe!!
