Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill is located on N. Elm Street in historic downtown Greensboro. And if you hear the word downtown….parking spot is the first thing which comes to mind. This is no different and I was super lucky to find a spot right outside the building. However, there are several options available with a few minutes walk.

The staff was great and the food delicious! We were visiting Greensboro and came in to this place after their business hours. The staff were leaving so they suggested to go to the next restaurant. However, my husband said that he only wanted to have Mediterranean food that time. The staff went back to the kitchen and granted his request and we had the delicious falafel platter! We didn’t eat inside but had the chance to see the place. It was clean and I liked the decorations on the wall. Five stars ⭐️ for this place!

*edit, changing my review* I found out they were closed from a family emergency and a guy who worked here personally apologized to me in person, which he didnt even need to. They gave me a nice coupon and I came back and the food was delicious! Peaceful and chill pace to eat and hang out too. Nice upstairs area to eat. Their veggies have COLOR and look fresh! Thank you! I had one of the best gyros i had in a while!

As a family, we try to emphasis healthy eating when dining out. It is fun to explore all the options but it’s well known that the majority of restaurants do not prioritize offering healthy and delicious food. Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill, however, is the exception. Our food was exceptional and everything was fresh. We watched the gentleman prepare our food and then retired to the top level for a quiet meal in preparation of our continued journey. I would like to extend my appreciation to the proprietors for the excellent fare.
