First time here and definitely not the last! The ambience of the restaurant was awesome and such a cool vibe. Service was absolutely amazing and food was fantastic! Went with a group of 6 and we got a bunch of different apps on top of entrees. Everything was coursed out perfectly and the desserts were perfect! An awesome evening with not a single complaint definitely one of my new favorite spots!! Loved it

Waxlight is a delight! The food is amazing. The service is on point, super friendly and the atmosphere is really nice. The menu is creative, cooked perfectly and the food pairing bang on. This is seriously the best food in Buffalo… and beyond. The flavors are creatively curated and melt together in perfection. The wine list is long and drinks are well crafted. Very interesting menu but the hostess needed to translate every item for us, as the descriptions do a terrible job of describing the food items. I’ve eaten at lots of restaurants and never seen a menu quite like this one. Was taken by friends and if I had read the menu online, I would have never gone there. Plus, the wine is extremely overpriced.

Excellent food & service! Creative menu flawlessly prepared, swanky interior, and staff who are attentive and knowledgeable about the offerings. Go prepared to order lots of things off the menu – you’ll be pleased by all of it! A few specialty highlighted cocktails and a decent sized wine list available as well. Great for date night, celebrations, or grabbing some drinks.

Interesting experience! The ambience is great and the service was excellent. Cocktails are unique – I had an aperol whip which was light and well balanced flavor wise. The food menu was a bit confusing but I tried a few of the smaller plates and a dessert. The waiter was well aware of gluten free options and which had the possibility of cross contamination. The chick pea and pumpkin panisse with orange turmeric yogurt was an interesting combination of flavors but not one that I particularly enjoyed. I also tried the pommes paillasson which was essentially a giant hash brown. The highlight was the grilled sweet potato ice cream with blood orange, it was just the right touch of sweetness and very light on the palate. All in all, a very unique experience and worth it for the ambience and drinks alone! Food options are definitely for refined foodies with an adventurous palate!

Beautiful space. Really well done with the layout and being able to peak into the kitchen and the beautiful plush blue couches for the “lounge areas”. Haven’t had a chance to have full dinner here yet but the drinks are fantastic (cocktails and wine) and the food I did get to try during their soft opening was delicious. You must get the potato chips!!! Sounds simple but they are anything but that
