All I can say is WOW! My husband and I were completely blown away by Shortys…. the food is TO DIE FOR! We ordered the Gyros and the sloppy Joe and both were heavenly. As we were finishing up- the owner (Shorty) was just pulling pie out of the oven- so of course we had to get a slice of each the cherry and apple. The cherry was quite good but the apple was phenomenal. We travel the country always looking for good food and Shortys was by far the best we’ve had in Illinois. If you’re looking for a place to go for great food… this is it.

This place was awesome! I had the Jacked Up Burger and it was delicious and HUGE! The owner, Shorty, was so kind and you can tell she puts a lot of care into her restaurant. This was a really pleasant surprise to find on the drive home. 10/10 would recommend!

Ordered the Friday fish fry. Had the 2 piece baked cod, salad & baked potato. It was extremely delicious. Shorty is a very nice/friendly person. All the food was packaged very well & hot when getting it home.

Just ordered a burger and tots for take-out. Asked for the tots to be extra crispy. If your someone like me that orders the potatoes crispy… they were spot on. Achievement there already. Burger was really good. So good i want to say, “This is a tasty burger,” in my best Samuel Jackson voice.
