This was my second time going for brunch my first experience was good they had a curry chicken pot pie that was to die for that they no longer serve which I cakes and all before attending the second time and was told it was still on the menu but it wasn’t even the server didn’t know if they still offered that dish. The food was ok nothing to make me want to come back again. The service was slow! The AC didn’t work and or server had to double as a bartender so she wasn’t available as much as she should have been. The decor is cute and the location is great plenty of parking. It’s worth trying at least once hopefully on a less busy weekend and you have better service. My service my first visit was excellent not this last time.

My first visit to BC and it was great. Despite the less than favorable reviews in the beginning, most businesses just getting started go through those bumps and situations at first. Living in the neighborhood and hearing of the happy hour, it was time to give it a try and see for myself. The verdict: I was pleasantly surprised and while my experience was limited to a Ceasar salad and the house wine, it made for a very pleasant evening. The place is beautiful, the staff, the variety of experiences the place has to offer (HH, greek/teacher, DJ on specific days during the week) and the live music/band really set it off. I enjoyed my salad, wine, service and just observing the staff and their professionalism amongst each other and the customers all was good to see, especially in the black (and brown) community. The ambiance is very posh and the bathroom was clean. You know, some places look nice and then the bathroom is disgusting so it’s worth pointing out. I MUST give big shout outs to Sam, Derrick, and Chris – they was cool AF. Very friendly, engaging with those that came and went, including myself. It’s great to see our young people of color working well, being respectful and professional. From the time Chris said hi and welcomed me in, Sam and Derrick were both awesome behind the bar. She treats the staff with respect as I watched her train the team and ensure the customers were satisfied. I look forward to more positive and pleasant experiences at the BC.

Brunch was delicious! The server was overwhelmed & the ac wasn’t working. The music was very loud but good song selection. Little tweaks here & there will make this a great spot to dine in PGCo finally.

Pumpkin The Panda
The lamb is delicious, tender and fully cooked. I also got the Chilean sea bass, it was so soft and not mushy or chewy. I’m in love with the champagne lemon butter, I’d use it on any fish. The creme brûlée is enough for two people so bring a friend. Will definitely come again. The chef and staff are very kind and polite which is a big thing to me and can make or break a good night out 10/10 experience.

Went Sunday for Brunch.. we sat down at 2 no one ever came over to our table to greet us or bring us waters so after about 20 minutes we flagged down the waitress who was serving the 2 tables next to us to see if she was our waitress she said no she’d get her.. after another 10-15 minutes another waitress came and said she wasn’t supposed to be our waitress but she’d take us since the bartender was too busy.. so she took our order we got bottomless mimosas and food.. another 20 minutes goes by still no mimosas so my friend asks someone to send the manager. About 5 minutes later we get our first mimosa. I was ready to go but my friends wanted to stay. After about 10 minutes the manager comes over we tell her everything she apologized and said she’d talk to the girl and she’d comp our meals.. so after another 25 minutes our food came.. I had fatcakes.. trash. My other friend had shrimp and grits she said it was good. When the bill finally came our meals were not comp’d so we asked the waitress to check (mind you we paid $31 each for bottomless and still haven’t gotten a refill) and the manager comes back and says oh no I meant I’d give you $20 off.. NOWHERE near comp’d. We just paid and left I was over the whole thing. I will never go back.

Diamond Toles
Went as soon as they opened this Friday. Service was great at the bar, it’s great music and a dj come along too. The food was delicious. I had the hanger steak and the bread pudding was insane. I removed a star because all of the entrees come with mash and creamed spinach which can not be substituted even with an up charge. There are plenty other sides to try but you will have to purchase them in addition to which was weird. But overall great experience.

Hippy Travel
Food was great, pleasantly surprised with spinach and mashed potatoes. Service was poor but it was a weekday evening – nobody knew who our server was. So we waited about 20 minutes until we had to ask for them to figure it out so we could order. Really enjoyed the snapper Escovitch! Live music created a great atmosphere too. Will go back maybe service was just off that day.

I am not sure why this place is not packed during happy hour on Friday. I was not sure what to order but the Po Boy Shrimp was freaking impressive. It went above my expectations. The spicy margarita was good, but could’ve been strong. Also, they played great music. I wished they had hookah, but there is a cigar area. Bravo!!!!! I will definitely return!
