Awesome Mexican food and not just for the remote location, I’d go here if it was in LA or Phoenix with other options as well. Very homemade unique feel to the food. Don’t go here if you’re impatient or in a rush because when I was there the one woman was taking the orders, payments and doing all the cooking, and I did have to wait about 10 minutes for her to finish the order of the previous people before she greeted me and took my order, but that is because of the one person doing it all. I didn’t mind this one bit but I could see people getting impatient so be aware of this. Just adds to the home kitchen feeling. Will visit again when I’m visiting GB or road-tripping through this region. My picture is of a quesabirria which was even more juicy and delicious than my picture does justice.

Great little stop in the slow town of Baker, especially after a day in the park. Sandra was very friendly. Food was made to order and served hot and fresh! Wasn’t a huge fan of the tamales but the tacos, gorditas, and tostadas were yummy!

Super delicious. Some of the best Mexican food I’ve ever had, which is hard to find outside of Texas. Rice was tasty. Burrito was amazing. Do make sure to stop here if you’re in the area.

As authentic as you can get, very grateful to have found Sandra’s in Baker, NV. By far the best food and the best value I have to say after two days in the area and eating at every other establishment. I would like to suggest to her try using paper plates instead of styrofoam containers. I imagine over time she will improve the atmosphere although there is a nice view of the valley and distant mountains.

We spent the might at Sandra’s villa. She has 3 cabins for rent. Great place, quiet and very very clean. Enjoyed street tacos from her food truck.

What a neat little find in a VERY small town. I would expect these flavors from the best Mexican restaurants and this spot nailed that!! Definitely stop by if visiting Great Basin.

Ahhh! The comforts of home cooking!! We stumbled upon Sandra’s while looking for a gas station in Baker, Nv. We showed up right at 9am (all 5 of us!!) and we were so excited, that we ordered a little bit of everything!! Tamales, Pork Adobada Torta, Veggie Tacos, and a Cheesy Bean Burrito… and FRESHLY MADE HORCHATA!! Everything was delicious!! We took pics of our food, but the kiddos went crazy, and devoured everything! I would totally recommend visiting this place!

We stopped here today after a few days camping. It was sooo good. Sandra was really nice to answer questions about the menu. The food was excellent . The kids loved the quesabirria, I had a burrito and it had a bunch of yummy crispy grilled cheese around. My wife had gordita and loved it too.

Very slow cooking. The food that should have taken 15-20 minutes took a whole hour. Seeing that it took as long as it did I thought the food would be amazing but I thought that it was sub-par. I would give it a lower review but I want to support a family business being that they have a little kid. Did not live up to the reviews and reputation but they did make delicious churros.
