Really like this place. Have come here several times now and do plan on being a regular. Usually come on a Saturday morning and it’s modestly busy but not crazy. Came on a Sunday once and it was nuts. Food came out late and serice was absent not sure if it was a fluke that day but haven’t gone back on a Sunday since.

My wife and I were in town for a hockey tournament and we do make a point to try locally owned places to eat when we travel for hockey. With a background in the restaurant and hospitality industry, I am try to be objective when I leave negative reviews and aim it more at the management if they read them. We were greeted and seated quickly and the host was welcoming. The server did not acknowledge us at all for 10 min but this wonderful guy took the drink order and came with a smile. The server came by and took the order, making a point to get the drinks on the table correct. 20 min passed, I overheard one server tell ours that the restaurant sat several tables at one time and there were two 6-8 tops waiting for their food. I figured it was going to be a bit slow but around 30 min after ordering we asked the host to check and see if our order was fired yet. If it wasn’t, I would have just paid for the drinks and left, no problem, bad day at the restaurant.

Best brunch spot in the area for fresh breakfast and lunch selections that are always delicious. I would personally like if the specials were changed more frequently. The service is usually friendly and timely. Prices and portions are affordable and plentiful.

Been coming here for years. But, after several owner changes, covid, and personnel changes, the food is not what it used to be. The customer service seems to overwhelm the management. And, the items that have been the stars of their menu for years, are no longer tasty. The thing that really breaks my heart is, they no longer have the best tasting Cole Slaw.

Been to this place one time. That should say enough. Remember it being decorated nicely yet a bit cold. The pricing was at the higher end. Food was not stand out neither the service. There are way too many places out there to get hung up on any less than great. If you’re still on the fence, read the management response on comments left by customers. Any mgr/owner that starts off with, “I don’t know what you’re talking about” clearly needs a break/reset.

Deep breath. I literally wish I could rate this place six stars. There was a breeze five minute wait when we first arrive but the owner brought out coffee for us to enjoy while we waited. The staff could not have been nicer or friendlier, the food came quickly and was absolutely delicious. We spoke with the owner briefly, a physics teacher at the high school nearby and she instantaneously made us feel like we were close friends. They buy their own fruit and vegetables early in the morning, and purchase organic whenever available. Their hard work is evident in the food and atmosphere they have cultivated. I am grateful for the opportunity to have found this place and will most certainly be by if I ever find myself in Hamilton Township again.

I ate at this place for the first time and it was so good. The owner was very nice and automatically introduced herself and told us about the place. I had to try the corned beef hash and It was the best I’ve ever had! The pork sausage was very tasty and high quality as well, very tender and juicy! The price was very reasonable fir the quality of food, I would highly The Brookwood Cafe.

Brookwood has been our diner of choice for many years. We love our favorite server, Lisa, and we just met a new server, Liam, today. Excellent food and service every time! We are greeted with a smile, and Jeff visits our table to be sure all is ok. I highly recommend the Mexican omelette or the Caesar Chavez special!
