Great place, with lots (13) of Hibachi grills. The restaurant has an elegant Japanese style decoration with a nice size bar and lots of seating areas. I personally ate at the Hibavhi since I always like the show and the fast cooking. The parking lot is a bit empty during the week, but that’s the best days sim e weekends it’s always packed.

This restaurant is a tired version of this type. The highlight was that our wait person was attentive and that the chef made sure he didn’t mix the vegetables up with anything that wasn’t vegan-friendly. However, the chef just went through the motions with little enthusiasm and my friend complained of too much flying rice. The sauces were boring and the food choices from the grill were limited for vegans. I would not recommend this place.

Came in on a Wednesday night and wasn’t too crowded. Took a while for the chef to start cooking but I’m guessing this was because they were hoping more people might show up. The food was on point and the chef was really good at what he does. Very pleasant manner and overall good service. Will definitely be back!

Our kids, favorite hibachi was in all of DC. It may not have some of the bells and whistles as far as the location is concerned of some more upscale places, but it is full of heart and character. Most importantly, the chefs are friendly, and very good at what they do, and always willing to entertain. We have been here many times, and we will keep coming back – an absolute favorite.

I placed an online order at the Laurel location for the Rib eye steak and chicken combo. Upon getting home with my order I realized that the order did not in fact contain the chicken I ordered only steak. I called the restaurant to advise the person that gave me the order and was told that there was nothing that they could do about it because it was an online order. I was told that I should request a refund online even though there is no way for me to request a refund on the website. To make another drive to the restaurant because of their mistake was impossible, and then to be told they could not do anything about it was also quite absurd.
