Enjoyed dining at 1592 Wood Fired Kitchen. It was a gorgeous evening, so we opted to sit outside. Unique menu with a Mediterranean flare. The prices are reasonable. Place gives off more of an upscale vibe. Would recommend for a date night. I ordered the mushroom risotto with lamb shank, and it was really good.

It’s a nice place. The atmosphere is cool and the staff was really good. Pizzas looked really good but we ordered a different food because we were celebrating a birthday. The food was good but not enough. In our case if we return to that place we’ll try the pizzas. The hummus was super good (10/10). I didn’t see the infant menu but was ok.

I was eager to try this Greek restaurant. I asked to be seated inside, but I was seated outside. Beautiful night but there were so many loud cars and motorcycles, it did detract from the ambiance and the ability to converse. The food was so good. I had the grilled octopus and my husband had the grilled chicken. We split the spicy falafel. I had a porter draft, dark and robust. The ancillary servers were attentive: our water glasses were kept full and our meal was brought out promptly. However, our own sandy-haired server was distracted, it seemed, by his electronic device, as he was always looking at his device and missed several subtle cues to come to the table. He never asked us how our food was or if we needed anything. We decided to forego the dessert and coffee because of the lack of attention. We went to Rise and Nye’s for that. Not a deal breaker and I certainly will go back because the food was very good.

Great experience. They took in a party of 30 in short notice, our waiter was awesome and on top of things. The food was delicious! I would def recommend beet goat cheese salad and lamb chops. A place worth visiting.

We liked this spot. Arrived near the end of the evening and they quickly set up a table for us out front. Andy our waiter was prompt cordial and engaging. Like drinks and eats from a menu that has a good mix to chose from. Greek Italian mix.

As someone who has worked in fine dining in Atlantic City, New Jersey for many years, I am a tough critic when it comes to restaurants and service. But I was thoroughly impressed by 1592 | Wood Fired Kitchen & Cocktails. The atmosphere is charming and inviting, the staff are all incredibly professional, and the food presentation and quality are outstanding. What’s more, the value for money is hard to beat in Sarasota. I highly recommend checking out this restaurant.
