Service was prompt, and the pizza was delivered to our table immediately after preparation. The pizza crust was perfect: it was firm and crisp enough not to break under the rich sauce and toppings. Once you bite into the aromatic crust, the dough is soft with the perfect amount of crunch and chew. I visited here my first night in Portland, and it really set the bar high for future restaurant visits. Great job!

In my opinion, Ranch has some of the best deep dish pizza you’ll find in the country. The layers of flavor in every bite are absolutely to die for. Every ingredient is treated right and the end product is a masterstroke!

Really enjoy their deep dish pizza. It’s a premium price, considering the size and nothing is organic, but a nice venue, delicious pizza, tons of indoor and outdoor space and a copious beer selection.

There is no shortage of great pizza spots to choose from in Portland. Ranch PDX serves up solid Detroit-style pies. True to its name, the ranch dressing is the real highlight. Unfortunately the flavor of the pizza can get lost in the overwhelming taste of the ranch. If you are a ranch-head this is definitely worth a visit. However you will be better off with a different pizza place if ranch isn’t your jam.

The atmosphere is off the charts! Pizza Detroit/Nona Sicilian style, awesome! Salad is great and the beer spot is on point!

The pizza was luke warm. A ghost of the glory of what it on r was. It’s disappointing, I remember experiencing Ranch pizza when it first came on the scene. I was telling everyone it was the best pizza in Portland. It has slowly progressively gotten worse, not the worst just not some place I’d go for pizza. The salad I had tonight outshined the pizza along with the corn nuts, not what you want for a pizza place. Such a bummer. This was the 3rd chance I have given it since it has gotten bad. 🙁

So I got a extra cheese, pep, garlic pizza, $37.50, and $40.50 after enough ranch for the pizza. When you get extra cheese, I would think, 75% of the pizza, would not just be sauce and bread…. There are slices with cheese covering 25% of the slice…. That can NOT be extra cheese. If that is, I can’t IMAGINE regular cheese… I didn’t complain the first time, but this is the SECOND time paying $40+tip for a really poorly portion of extra cheese, that I did indeed pay for….. geeeze. I will never buy another $40 pie from here if I don’t hear back. This is crazy. I work at a pizza shop local myself… I top pizzas, FOR A LIVING, and I know that’s not extra cheese, and waisted to much money, on a pizza that I think should be GREAT, but turns out, to be the rest is going to be thrown away, bc I simply am really un satasfied tbh.

I am glad to see that others are raving about this place too, but I want to try to help hype it up a little bit more! This place is great. Their style of pizza has direct competition to other similar places in town, but they do it the best here. Their crust is the best, their bake is the best, their toppings are the best. The price is right, everything tastes good and works out. Service is friendly. This place has officially beat out their competition on my top five list of best pizza places in Portland. Oh, and their ranch really is great! It doesn’t taste like other ranches, it has much more of a dill flavor!

Amazing pizza that I can’t recommend enough. The veggie pizza is by far my favorite, and the breadsticks were perfection! Service was super friendly, fast, and everything looked really clean. This space is also just really adorable, and there’s Bearlic which has lots of booze options if that’s your thing!

We’ve been here almost weekly since they opened with Barelic. Pizza started off amazing and over time has just gotten sad. It’s never crispy like it used to be. It feels thrown together and often not warm. We moved on from eating pizza and have been just doing salad & breadsticks & corn nuts. Now the corn nuts are fabulous but they just changed how much they are serving per portion. It used to be a very generous portion for $2 which was amazing! Now it’s literally a side cup full. See picture. I understand the need to cut back due to price increases, but $2 for a tiny side cup of corn nuts is insane. As much as I love them, I will not be buying it again unless they increase the portion size again. I’m disappointed in the changes that have been happening at Ranch. They started so great & still have such great potential—hope they turn it around soon.
