I have to say, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal in sabor salvadoreño. Definitely fine dining along with atmosphere. The menu is remarkable in terms of having a variety of things to choose from. I highly recommend the pupusas. This is my first time in Atlantic City, and I’ve eaten in a few places already, but so far, this was the best place I’ve eaten. My meal was delicious at most. The service provided by the restaurant was excellent. The pricing is more than reasonable, at least for the food I oreder. The quality of the pupusas is outstanding, and that is what I highly recommend. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. The experience was one I could not forget. I love the scenery as well it is very comfortable. Me and the person who accompanied me both the same about sabor salvadoreno.

This place used to be very good when I first went out to AC for a week that was about 5 to 6 years ago. Now the portion of the food got smaller and the price has gone up and while dining inside you will be annoyed with all the flies while trying to eat.

The decor is cool, atmosphere is nice and the food is very good. Some of the portions are huge, so I had to take half of the torta home. But now I have lunch today!

I love this little restaurant. Although the wait time can be long and service may be slow as shown in other reviews, I’ve never had a problem. The people here are nice and the menu is huge. My friend ordered the bandeja international which had a lot of variety to it. He cleaned his plate! They gave him two types of the curtido and I really liked the one that was a little more sour and darker. I ordered enchiladas verdes but our server put my order in wrong. However, she apologized profusely and the chilaquiles was still very good. I have had their enchiladas in the past and I can say that they are amazing and very flavorful. All over town, places make enchiladas verdes very bland. Even though they are salvadoran, the chef must be skilled because all the variety they have. I’ve seen other parties order their bandeja paisa which is colombian but it looked and smelled amazing! Overall the food is great and very fresh, and I don’t mind the time it takes because at least it shows they are making many things from scratch and properly at that.

The worst experience I ever had! They lack customer service skills. I went to this restaurant on August 21, 2022 and we had the rudest waitress! When I was ordering my drink she told me they didn’t have the drink I wanted so I asked for two other drinks and she said they didn’t have it, so I was annoyed because she could’ve told me what is available instead of me naming every drink and her saying they don’t have it. She said technically she can’t say they don’t have something even if that’s the case. When we were ordering my friend wanted to know instead of getting three same flavor pupusas if she can get one pupusa with a different flavor and the lady said no we can’t do that. Then she asked if she can just order one instead of the order of three and she said no she can’t do that. Every time we asked her anything she always said she couldn’t do it or she said they didn’t have it. Since she told us no substitution I needed additional time to see what I wanted and she said no she couldn’t do that she said the tables order has to be place together and that she was busy with another table so she needed our order now. I felt rushed and the waitress lacked manners. I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant for the lack of service, the food isn’t good and the parking is horrible in that area. Zero stars! The food also took a long time to be given to us and the rude waitress automatically gets a tip. I believe she acts poorly because she knows regardless she’ll be tipped. Honestly she was going to get a horrible tip for her lack of mannerism sadly it wasn’t my choice to make. Save your time and money!

Food was tasty and portions are generous pricey for sure. I do not like the fact that you cannot order individual pupusas, tacos, tamales, sopes etc. For example they bundle 3 exact same pupusas and it has to be uniformed, it’s either all cheese or all revuelta. For the price of 11.99 for 3 you should have the choice to pick what kind you want. One more thing to add….if you have a party of more than 4 people you have to sit in different tables as they won’t allow you to join tables.

Worst service ever !!! I waited more than 30 minutes for my food . I went there to place a large order for take out . The lady forgot half of my order . When I got home I noticed half my order was missing. The lady was unapologetic and never once apologized. Very rude and definitely never going back. I asked for extra curtido and it wasn’t enough for the large order. I didn’t mind paying., and still didn’t get what I wanted . Do not come here !!

Good food but need more transparency with the prices. They WILL charge you 20% tip if you have 4 or more in your party. Also nobody answers the phone and their hours are unreliable.
