Overall we really liked Ellie Bird. All the food was cooked well and had good flavor combinations. The lamb was cooked perfectly, and we loved the scallion butter with focaccia and pineapple buns. We like that the menu changes from season to season, but wish they had more cocktails on their menu. We will definitely come back!

Such a cute space. I haven’t been to the 1st restaurant but what I can say if it’s as good as this one I will be adding it to the list. The drinks were great and our server was so knowledgeable. Honestly the only thing I didn’t enjoy was the tater tots and the chocolate cake. Either then that it honestly was such a divine meal. Restaurant is cute, nothing crazy aesthetically ground breaking but again the food was the main show as it always should be.

The food was excellent, as was the service. We went for brunch yesterday and decided to treat ourselves and order 3 dishes to share – the sliders, pulled pork hash, and waffles. The sliders were solid and the other two items were pretty spectacular.

Excited to try Chef Yuan Tang’s new restaurant during the restaurant week! Basically, the whole menu is selected from their regular dinner menu, they are listed in price low to high order, so depends on how you order it you might not be saving any money for the $55 for 3 courses deal. (had I figure this out earlier I won’t come during the restaurant week since I do want to try other food on the regular menu)

Rooster & Owl is one of my very favorite restaurants in DC so I was pretty excited to try this place. And it did not disappoint! I love the vibe. The decor is tasteful and fun. And of course the food is delicious. Shishito peppers were a standout for me. Mussels were delicious. I would come here once a week if I lived in the neighborhood. I was excited to try the alcoholic boba tea, but turns out that’s only on brunch menu. I’ll be back!

A fantastic addition to the Falls Church restaurant scene! We went for brunch on Saturday morning and enjoyed it so much that we came back for dinner on Sunday. The flavor combinations they come up with are so clever, the service is flawless, and the ambience is delightful. Love that they’re also kid and family friendly. Can’t wait to come back!
