WOWzer. Had no idea what Puerto Rican food tasted like, and was lucky enough to cross paths with this robust red school bus/food truck outside of Mossyback Distillery in Jeff city tonight. Truly a gem. The order took longer than most food trucks… and it was obvious why. Amazing flavors cooked to perfection!! Huge portions too, well worth the price. I had the 5 meat sandwich with plantain chips, and hubs had the cubed steak and rice, with macaroni salad. Sooooooo tasty Eating on the outside patio (after entering the red door) and enjoying a fantastic Moscow mule made for a wonderful date night❣️

Ever since visiting PR 2 years ago, we have been searching for anything comparable. So glad we spotted this as we were heading into Seymour and decided to stop for a snack, even though we literally just had lunch.

First visit 4/21 and will be our last, especially after seeing pictures they posted on their fb page today that did not align with what we ordered. Half our order was overcooked and inedible which means we wasted $40 and an hour drive out of our way. I was excited about finding out about their food truck because my background is Puerto Rican and I missed the authentic food. The girl that took our order was not friendly at all, she took our order with zero hospitality and the owners aren’t friendly. It took nearly an hour to get our food which was to be expected but when we finally got our food, it smelled like old burnt oil. We ordered 2 orders of alcapurrias and got one order of 2 LARGE ones, both overcooked on the outside and still wet on the inside and tasted horrible. The fried pork was BURNT and we could not eat them. The mofongo was good and the plantains were as well, but that was it. I posted a review on their page and they ghost responde me so who knows what they replied with! The pictures they posted today on their page compared to what we got was inconsistent. It’s disappointing because I was excited about their food truck but I will never return. Consistency, quality and hospitality go a long way. Good luck!

The food was great. However, I had to wait over an hour without ANY warning it was going to take that long. This was during Morristown’s Food Truck Festival. They did not apologize or even acknowledge the wait time.

Bueno….well, where to start? Amazing! We had, al alcapurrias de yuca (12 out of 10) pinchos de puerco (pork skewers) 15 out of 10. White rice and beans 10 out of 10 and fried pork 8 out of 10. Overall well worth the trip all the way from Oakridge and being from Puerto Rico, I know a thing or two about the food being produced by Orlando the owner. If you are in the area or considering making the trip, you will not be disappointed.

The only thing I can complain about this place is that I wish they were open every day! Food, service, people.. everything is great. I’m Puerto Rican and my dad could throw down and taught me how to cook, too, so with that said.. their food is authentic!!

So good. Left NY years ago and my grandma and father past away and with them all the Puerto Rican food I grew up on. So I stopped in on my way through Morristown and ordered a few things got to say that it’s authentic Puerto Rican food just like I grew up on. Got to try it you will not be disappointed. I will definitely be back for more

Sooooooo good!!!! I honestly thought my days of having PR food were over since moving out of NY, but I was wrong!! I saw this truck parked at Lowe’s and made a hard right into the parking lot to try it out. Food was great. You won’t be disappointed. Garlic shrimp was amazing. Rice is delicious. So happy it’s so close to me!!

Great food, friendly service. This is not fast food so you have to wait a little, but it’s well worth it.
