As a first-time guest, the food was tasty, fresh, and very flavorful. The corn was so delicious I couldn’t wait for each bite! But the brisket was all that and some. I really didn’t need the bun. It was in the way, and the homemade BBQ sauce was tangy but not overpowering! Customer service was refreshing as well. Great place I will return soon

This place is awesome! The food is amazing the sauces they provided on the table are amazing and the staff is super friendly. It was the first time trying their food and the gentleman taking the order cut a sample of the brisket and it was amazing. The location is great, right in downtown Gilbert. The inside provides a bar like seating with a center bar top like seating area. Out side they have covered seating that’s kind of a farm like atmosphere and then regular tables on the patio. The patio has misters incase it gets a little toasty out. Now for the food…..the brisket burrito amazing. It was the right amount of meat and beans. The Birria brisket tacos are probably the best tacos I have ever had and worth every dollar. To top things off we ordered the roasted cream elote and I wish I would have ordered a bigger serving of it! We didn’t order the ribs but they did bring a sample of the St. Louis style ribs and they were really good. The Arizona gold sauce in my opinion is some of the best sauce I’ve tried! Hands down if you are thinking about trying this place….do it. You won’t be let down. I’m definitely going back to try the other meats and sides.

First time guest and I gotta say that the food was amazing. It had such great flavor that sets it a part from its competitors. I’m definitely going to come back and try more dishes. If you are having trouble, deciding on what to get, you can’t go wrong with the Birria tacos! Must try! The side of beans also had a lot of flavor to them. Quaint place with a beautiful pinic seating area. Staff was friendly and welcoming, they also went over the menu with me, which was really helpful. Thank you!

The green chilies carnitas tacos are so delicious! Perfectly seasoned and cooked! The brirra tacos hit the spot as well. You can’t go wrong with eating here, the best thing on my menu is the mac and cheese – it’s creamy delicious and I can’t get enough of it! everything is so flavorful the staff is friendly and helpful! The restaurant is clean, only down side would be very little seating inside!

Just stopped in here to try the birria tacos. OMG!!! Why didn’t we go here sooner?! Standing there waiting to order, we were having a tough time figuring out what all we wanted to try, so decided on the Mexi-Q platter. So much good food!! Everything was delicious, but the birria tacos were both my wife’s and my favorite. The inside dining is really small, like one long table and a bar-like table; that’s it. They have tons of outdoor seating with misters going. With it being 111 outside, we opted to squeeze into a corner at the bar table. In hindsight, it probably would have been more comfortable outside. So keep that in mind when choosing the times you go. We will definitely be back for more tacos! Yum!

First timers at this place. I’ve been smoking meat for over 20 years and typically disappointed at most BBQ joints. Caldwell County Mexi-Q is something special. Seriously amazing food and Julio came out to welcome us and give us the history of this very fine establishment. We will most definitely frequent this place a ton as this was one of the best BBQ places I have ever had the privilege of eating at. The Mexican Twinkies were mind blowing, the Birria tacos were perfection and the Brisket tacos melted in our mouths. Forever a fan.
