I have celiac disease, I asked three separate times what the bread was made of and no one would tell me. “Just trust me it’s gluten free” is an unacceptable answer to someone who has a serious medically necessary diet. Other than the snarky attitude the food was delicious.

Visited on Valentine’s Day weekend. This place is located in a back alley and is a very cozy setting. I think max seating is 20. The server was good. We ordered a drink, Arancini, Bruschetta and polenta and extra bread basket. Food was great. Best was polenta and Arancini. Bread was very good as well. Unfortunately they did have many dessert option left. Overall a very good experience and good food.

Hands down best gluten free restaurant I been to. Short rib was cooked down to perfection with a slightly hot Calabrian chili sauce perfect golden leeks. We also had the scallops can you say modern freaking cooking? Pearls and foam… yes please. Will be back

Amazing. Delightful. Immaculate. Best. There aren’t enough positive adjectives in the dictionary to describe this place! I went with a friend tonight who has a lot of allergies. The waitress was super accommodating and patient, didn’t dilute her concerns, and went back into the kitchen to verify that the ingredients in the dishes we ordered didn’t have any of the ingredients she is allergic too. The co-owner even came and talked to us. It isn’t often that you’re able to find an amazing restaurant that values such stellar service nowadays. I know there are many great restaurants in the Bay Area, but, when you walk into this small restaurant, it just feels like home. 10/5 stars. I hope I’m able to visit again before heading home. Thank you again for the amazing food and equally amazing service!

Pretty good food. All gluten free. I felt rushed to eat in the 1.5 hour time limit.

I don’t normally write reviews but my husband and I just had brunch at Polenteria and it was beyond amazing! We shared the arrancini and then each got an order of the crab cake benedict. The food was incredible as well as the service. We will definitely be back again!

They have an amazing menu of food and everything is safe for those with Celiac! They are also very aware and understanding of food allergies – talk to the server. The polenta dishes are their specialty, and each one is delicious. My kids love the meatballs and the arrancini. For dessert, their tiramisu is excellent!

The food is very good, and we’re very grateful to have a dedicated gluten free facility so we can eat anything off the menu (my wife has celiac). My only concern is the prices don’t seem to match with the portion sizes. Our caprese was comprised of half a burrata and roughly one tomato. The other salad we ordered was also very small, both being around $15. I would also have expected a larger cut of meat for the short rib, but at least there were a lot of green beans? This was all ordered to go, so I’m
