Normally, I never have any issues with Papa John’s and their pizza is pretty descent. My wife and I were expecting the delivery order to arrive no later than 8:30 pm and it did not even get delivered until after 9:00 pm. I have never seen them use Doordash for delivery, but this was the first time. I got a text from the dasher saying that some other driver took off with my order and that it was going to be remade. If you have ever used Doordash, then you know that they may have multiple deliveries and not even be familiar with the area. This was unacceptable considering that they should have compensated me in some way for something that was their fault. Aside from that my wife was planning to take our kid out to play not later than the latest estimated delivery time. Needless to say, she was pretty upset, and caused quite some bit of stress. I am tempted to not get Papa John’s again, and I order pizza from them weekly. At least offer some sort of compensation without me having to ask. This was ridiculous.

I placed an order at 3:06 to be picked at 7:30. I walked it at 7:25 and they were just about to start making the order. I told the manager who was very unprofessional and uncaring that the order supposed to be picked at 7:30 not being prepared at 7:30. She said well, we been packed up. I said cancel, she said ok, i dont care. With that attitude, i will never order there again. Decided to keep the order since i have people invited, whole waiting i asked one of the customers when he placed his order and he said 30 min ago. Management of this place is just not good

Just got a large pizza at the Buda location. I have to say this may well be the best pizza I’ve ever had. Crust was spot on and lots of toppings. Got home and it was still steaming hot but didn’t last long.

My favorite, pan pizza with extra extra sauce and light cheese. I wish their online ordering allowed me to request extra extra sauce. Have to go in and special order. Buda Papa Johns is the friendliest location I’ve ever been to.

I ordered food, it showed up late. When it finally showed up, the driver left it on the front porch in 40 degree weather, without even a knock or a ring. When I finally noticed it, it was cold and stale. When i called the store to request an edit to my driver tip that was required at checkout, he hung up on me, 3 times.

Just placed order for pick up. The “bread sticks” flat and tough, chewy. Pizza stuffed crust thin, chewy tough and looked underbaked. Maybe frozen dough? Poor quality ingredients? I ordered at lunch time. But yuck!
