I really hope during the day it’s better than at night. If you go after 9pm, it seems like they short you on everything, and once the bar crowd comes in, all the employees only care about hitting on the drunk college girls. You pay almost $13 for nachos, and they don’t even care about you, just all the drunk girls around. I know Spanish, I have to say, some of the things the employees say in Spanish, is not workplace friendly,let alone friendly for those that go here.

Had 1 customer 6pm on Sunday. Got the nachos and they tasted like they were made yesterday, cost 20 dollars. Didn’t have any special hot sauces only tabasco. Didn’t come with a drink. Charged 4 dollars extra for 3 ounces of beef. My friend wanted shrimp and they wouldn’t make it. Tried leaving a tip and the cashier questioned me if I was sure if I wanted to tip. I am talking about Vincennes. The food is great, the atmosphere is great, but the owner needs a new publicist. The Mexican restaurant across the street is packed, and there are never any customers at Cheva’s. He needs a massive promotion campaign to get people in the restaurant so they would understand it’s a much larger, nicer place. The food is better the service is good, but no one does anything to promote this restaurant. Many of my friends have never even heard of it. If he had the right publicist to get this place going, he could make a success of it. I don’t know if he wants the losses for a write off, or if he would really like to make it a success. I would be happy to help him make a go of this place if he wanted a good publicist.
