Let me get one thing straight before I start my review. The food was good. It’s the service that was bad. I showed up by myself and the place wasn’t busy. I was told to grab a seat and wait by 1 of the 2 waitresses who were having a conversation at the counter. As I did a family of 5 walked in and they were immediately seated. Mind you more than half the tables and booths were available, again I was alone. A couple then comes in and they too are seated. At this point I walk up to the counter and yell the waitress I’m grabbing a booth. She then tells me she thought I said I was with grub hub. I’d write it off as a simple mistake if it weren’t for the fact that I was told to grab a seat and at no point did I mention anything since the waitresses were already in the middle of a conversation. It was poor listening on her end. As I was seated she came dropped off a menu and went back to the counter to continue her conversation. The club sandwich was good and the place was clean.

Very slow service. Our waitress was very busy but there was not more than 5 families dinning. We waited between 45 to 55 minutes for our food and most of it was cold. White gravy was salty and rice was undercooked. Pancakes were good. Two families walked out because of the long wait and didn’t wait on their food.

Filthy place and slow service. Waited at front for several minutes without being acknowledged while three employees stood there at register visiting with one another ignoring us. Seated in a dirty area and no attempt to clean trash up around us all over floor and two of our seats. Menus were wrong, so had to keep ordering and kept being told they were out of items…like pizza on the kids menu, but they don’t have pizza. Finally discovered they ran out of menus and had to use wrong ones. Frustrating. Kids loved their food and our waitress was very sweet. My food was disgusting….DO NOT ORDER THE TURKEY AND DRESSING! Awful.

The restaurant interior is worn, seats are torn, etc. Waitstaff is friendly, but far from exemplary. Waited for silverware. Meal had pancakes but was not given syrup. Basic things you should not have to ask for. Even had to wait for someone to check me out. All the while, the manager or owner, sat having coffee with someone. Definitely not what I expect from Dennys. Food was okay, but hard to mess up scrambled eggs and pancakes. Disappointed.

We went to this location last night to order food to go, we tried calling for over thirty minutes to place an online order and no one answered, then when we got to the location there was two customers inside eating and all of the employees were standing around talking. Once we placed the order I noticed one of the ladies scratching her head right before so was headed back into the kitchen to prepare our food and we ended up cancelling the order, ended up going to the Denny’s location off 183 and Industrial instead much better service with attentive staff that aren’t grossing out the customers. It seems like at night this location has a lack of supervision and we definitely wont be back, kind of reminds us of an old Waffle house vibe at night, completely different from during the daytime.

We haven’t been altogether happy the last couple times we came here. We decided to give it one last shot and that was a mistake. My sister and I ordered the sirloin steak. Mine was to be medium and hers medium well. They were both past well done and tough. The waitress took them to get us corrected ones. They came out so rare blood was all over the plate. The manager did take off one meal and that was appreciated but it left me with nothing to eat except very tiny red potatoes and hard garlic toast. Maybe I’m wrong but the point of going to a restaurant is to eat, which I didn’t. I definitely won’t be going to this or any other Denny’s again!!
