Great food, even better service. Skip the free hotel breakfast and head over to Steves Famous Diner. You get so much food for a very low price. Everything was delicious and fast. Thank you for getting us back on the road happy!

My plan was to give Steve’s Famous Diner 5 stars and a raving review. We’ve been there like 5 times and every time the food has been great and the service even more so, with huge portions, amazing prices, and the most friendly staff on beach side. We bragged about this place to lots of people. Then we brought our daughter (she’s heard us talking) and it was like a different restaurant! The server barely looked at us, never check on us (I had to get up and find her to get our order in). The French toast was under cooked (raw egg soaked in the bread) and unfortunately they were mopping while we ate and it was a strong smell. There were only two customers at the time and it really surprising. My food took so long my party had finished eating, sent something back (the French toast), got it back, and then another 5-10 minutes. Wow.

Definitely recommend going here. The food is excellent , and the service is great. When the server first came to the table, she brought 4 big slices of homemade bread. It was delicious. Ordered the BLT. II was so surprised when she sat it in front of me. It was huge. It had so much bacon. I have never seen a BLT that big. The sandwich was served with frenc fries. The chicken salad plate was also big .a heaping scoop of chicken salad on a bed of lettuce with another heaping scoop of slaw. Both lunches also came with a cup of soup. The view across the road was of the ocean. Can’t beat that!! Our server told us that was going to change. The property had been sold, and a condo was going to be built. It’s still worth the trip.

My anticipated arrival to this family style diner last weekend was very well worth the wait! Looking for hearty, filling homemade food, this is the place to dine at when in beautiful Daytona Beach. The great ocean view from across the street is an extra treat when visiting. The new interior is large and comfy. Parking is available on the property. The employee staff are hardworking, friendly and professional. An important reflection of the owners/management who strive to ensure that all their guests are treated like family and enjoy their meals. Shoutout to co-owner Señor Christos Mavronas who is a wonderful and kind soul. He plays an integral part of the everyday operations along with his family and management team. My family and I enjoyed the coffee, juices, breakfast and lunch dishes. I was excited to order the world famous “Monte Cristo” platter. I took my time to eat and enjoy this hearty, filling and tasty sandwich. The dining experience at the diner was amazing and we look forward to a return trip soon!

The burger was basic and cooked well done. Bun was great. It could have been a frozen patty from Costco really. I expected more famousness.

The diner food at this Daytona area staple is great! They make their own bread from scratch and it’s delicious and huge. The decor could use some updating and a very deep clean as it felt like I needed a tetanus shot after eating there. The prices are great and food is as well, just needs some TLC to get to 5-stars

First time here and it was worth it. Western omelette and Bacon omelette. I was a little surprised cheese was extra, I thought that was standard. There is plenty of food on your plate, you won’t leave hungry. Service was good, food was good, atmosphere good. We had to wait about 10 minutes, lots of snowbird tags in the parking lot. I’m sure the wait would be longer if a special event was going on in town like race wk or bike wk. They serve breakfast til 2pm and the menu is pretty simple nothing fancy just good ol staple comfort food. Will definitely be back again.

Great place to dine. Wonderful staff and service and I’m sure the chicken soup can cure anything, it was so delicious. That bread is all I ate because it was so good. The lasagna is delicious. Everything is great.
