Wife and I both had the chimichanga with beef tips. It was amazing!!!! The large queso was enormous and delicious (spend the extra 4 bucks for the large–it’s well worth it!). Waitstaff was very attentive and incredibly friendly! We will definitely be back!!!

Awesome takeout experience. Great food. Definitely will be doing this again.. ** Editing my review. You can no longer order Take out from this place. Which makes me sad since I really enjoyed their food. Now it just rings forever and wastes your time while you wait for your call to be answered, and it never does.

December 22, 2021 – My co-worker and I decided to eat dinner here as we were so hungry. This was our first visit (and won’t be the last). We both had the ‘ Burrito Rio ‘ which was one of the specials of the night. No kidding…it was as big as the platter with the inside chock full of beef tips which was very tender, rice and beans. Presented with red sauce and queso cheese. Delicious and very filling. Best of all the owner and co-owner used to work at a Mexican restaurant I frequent. Now they are just starting out and the place is small but carry out is available. No liquor is served as the landlord of the shopping center wouldn’t allow that. The way the business is going they will out grow the space soon. Service was ‘ spot on ‘ and it was a great choice to dine there! In the words of Arnold Schwarzenegger…” I’ll be back ” !!

If you stay around Peculiar and eat Mexican food than Popi’s is the only place you should be going to!! Fresh Ingredients prepared daily! It’s also very easy on the stomach! Everyone please just try it. Taco Tuesday Deals!!
