Below mediocre food and service to match. Very unwelcoming, you feel as if you are interrupting. The miso soup didn’t have seaweed or tofu, and was OLD. The rice was almost a paste, the fish was barely noticeable. They need higher standards.

Second place that I find delicious sushi in NJ (you can see one of my reviews to know the other place). This place’s menu is wide and the price of each is very reasonable, the flavor of the sushi is very fresh and the taste is great. The image I’m sharing are 3 different flavors, the menu itself on the tables have the pictures of each type of sushi (I forgot to tell them that I was eating there so they packed my sushi and that’s what you can see in the picture, next time I’ll go there I’ll upload another picture). The decoration and the atmosphere of the place is comfortable and the customer service is good. I highly recommend this place.

Horrible service . I’ve been coming here for over 10+ years . Today I came in to sit down and he said no . Not even 5 min later 2 Caucasian woman walk in and they are aloud to sit down and enjoy their soup and sushi . It was beyond unprofessional , I will never be returning . They deserve all the bad reviews on here. Please proceed with caution.

I was making an order, I couldn’t understand what he was saying, so I ask him to repeat the menu. This guy caught an attitude with me. Said that I need to look at the menu online and then hung up the phone on me. Horrible customer service. They don’t treat their customers as priority. Zero stars, horrible business bad attitude, will never buy here in my life ever again.

Now Sushi Boy is a bit of a hard one to accurately review…essentially, their sushi is amazing. Hands-down some of the best rolls & cones I’ve ever had anywhere in my life, and I love sushi (my favorite food infact), so that’s saying something in my book. On the other hand, the service is very spotty amd really depends on what type of mood the owner is in that day. It’s not uncommon for him to be curt or even sometimes ‘rude’ to customers, even repeat one’s. In my opinion, this is something I’m willing to sacrifice for how good the sushi actually is and as long as he doesn’t refuse to serve me entirely, I’m happy with whatever quality of service I get.
