The food was quite expensive for the overall average experience. I found everything to be quite average at this place.

We love this place for all 3 meals. Have visited multiple times and almost every time we have come to Hilo. Prices a little high but what is to be expected this close (walking distance) to the hotels. Beautiful scenery, though, during your walk. Erica was very attentive and friendly. Food always delicious and never too crowded.

Stopped in for dinner based on reviews and food was pretty good. Friendly staff and we beat the rush. Shortly after we sat down it got busy. No real complaints, just wasn’t over the top great that is the reason for 4 stars. Would go back again.

Ate here twice while visiting. First had the macadamia pancakes. Very delicious. Interesting batter makes for a fluffy cake yet crispy around the edges.

So good!! We got the prime rib, prime rib sandwich (French dip), a salad and had complimentary spinach artichoke dip as an app. Service was great and quick, food was delicious!

Very beautiful interior with huge windows and Hawaiian decor. We got seated immediately at 10am on a Sunday (very busy day for breakfast).

Our family of five from Texas and Oklahoma visited Oahu and the Big Island for Spring Break! Coconut Grill was very close to our hotel so we decided to try it for breakfast one morning of our trip and we were so glad we did!! We loved the banana bread that is brought to the table..Delish! For our meal we ordered the Lilikoi French Toast, the Coco Moco, and the Spam Slam!! All were extremely good!! I cannot pick a favorite but one of my grandsons favorite breakfast on the Big Island was the Spam Slam, so much so that we went back the last morning of our trip! We also ate dinner at Coconut Grill during our stay in Hilo and it was equally just as good!! We had the Surf n Turf, The Kahuna Rib Eye Steak and the The Kona Fisherman’s Catch with Mahi! All were Delicious!! We loved the plating of the Fisherman’s Catch and the grilled pineapple was delicious also!! The wait staff were all very friendly and came around often with refills and to check on the table! We will definitely visit again if/when we return to Hilo!!

Nice spot across the street from the water. Good variety of food on the menu. The Caesar salad was really good. I had the Mahi Mahi nacho sliders. Wasn’t quite what I was expecting, but overall, it was fine

Great service and friendly staff, good location and good food. Nothing to write home about, but a very neat little place to grab an affordable meal that tastes good. Also very close to the hotel we stayed at which was convenient.
