First off, the salsa was spicy, and the queso was good. However, the chips seemed stale. The entrees, however, were fantastic! I never got the chance to try their margaritas, but next time I will!

El Nuevo is the “new” place to go in Wolf Ranch. It has a HUGE menu and all the staples. The Mexican grill is also one to visit, lots of choices with some original creations. Have a picky eater, no worries…bring ‘em!

My wife and I tried this restaurant for the first time recently. A big disappointment. The Guacamole was tasteless. It was just an avocado mashed up. It is evident that they don’t know how to make Guacamole, there was no salt, garlic, onions, or salsa which is how good Guacamole is normally prepared. After our first taste I added salt and several teaspoons of salsa to liven up the flavor. I had the Taco Plate. It was fair but it would have been much better had they used actual real cheddar instead of what is likely canned cheddar cheese sauce. My wife had the Chile Relleno and could not eat it. She said the flavor was “strange”. She only ate the beans. The facility itself is VERY noisy with concrete floors and high ceilings resembling a warehouse; a really weird atmosphere. The prices are moderate. We gave this place a try and it failed. We won’t be back.

As far as I know this place is relatively new. My wife and I decided to go here for a date night. The food is great, and the chips and salsa is good. The service was exalent.

We decided to try another Mexican restaurant in Georgetown, and this one was ok. It probably won’t bubble to the top of our list of favorites, but it’ll stay on the list. The food was typical central Texas Tex-Mex. The salsa had a good flavor. Chicken enchiladas and nachos were good. The atmosphere was not ideal. One large open space which I would imagine could get noisy if they were very busy. The service lacked a little. Nobody ever offered to refill our chips and we had to request drink refills and wait forever for those.

I don’t visit many Tex Mex spots in Georgetown but this one was worth it. The restaurant was clean open and inviting. We were seated immediately and waited on promptly. I had the Bistec tacos that were juicy tender and plentiful. The rice and beans top notch! Oh yeah just a homemade tortillas that passed the bend test. The flaca margaritas was a bit sweet for my taste but overall a great flavorful experience. A 40 dollar tab for two entrees and 2 drinks can’t be beat now a days. Buen provecho! Hasta la proxima!

Chicken mole for lunch was very good. Mole was tasty with a little heat behind it. Mango margarita was delicious. Carne asada plate my wife had was also delicious. Watermelon margarita was refreshingly good. Atmosphere was inviting and well light with tables spread out a decent spacing. Staff was friendly, service was fast and professional. Food arrived to the table hot.

Definitely a skip for anyone who likes good Mexican food. Everything was really bland with obvious shortcuts taken on ingredients and prep.

Attended this new restaurant during their soft opening. They’re still working out a few kinks before the announced grand opening but the food is every bit as good as I remember from their Austin location. We recognized several of the family members who are here in Georgetown to get this location up and running to the standards expected. There was already a good crowd of patrons eager to check out their restaurant. Until they are fully staffed please be patient and understanding. It will be a welcomed addition to Wolf Ranch.
