It was my first time visiting an African restaurant ever! We drove from Savannah to get here. The food was super good! If I had to choose a favorite, it would be the Jollof Rice and the fish. Massa topped off the experience with exceptional customer service. Definitely will be a returning customer. The only thing I would prepare you for is the long wait. However, if you do not mind waiting for great traditional food then this is your place

On a work trip, I discovered this restaurant. I was excited to eat African food again, since I had been to Kenya two years ago. This food is in the Cameroon style. I had the Egussi spinach with goat, fried plantains, collard green, and Fufu. Absolutely delicious and flavorful! The owner is very sweet and friendly 🙂 I have to try their fish next time!

My new favorite place! The pepper chicken and jollof rice is a vibe and the egussi + fufu tastes so freaking good. The oxtails were so good as well. The woman at the counter is always so pleasent.

My husband told me about this restaurant. I was interested because I wanted to try African food but once I heard the name I didn’t want to go. My friend from out of town wanted to go there. I decided to finally go and I’m glad I did! The food is delicious! I had peppered goat with fufu. Friendly customer service. It’s clean and has a nice vibe! I asked why they named the restaurant Massa and was told in Nigerian culture it means respect… Yeah not to be ignorant but naming an African restaurant Massa down south isn’t a good look due to history. The name alone is going to deter alot of people. Anyway I will be back! That food is too good not to come back!

Wow, food was so amazing. The owner was extremely nice and welcoming!! The restaurants was extremely clean. Just all around a great experience. We don’t live in the area but, if we visit again. We will most definitely return!!

Great customer service and food was great, the jollof could be better, it was dry and lacked flavor. I ordered online. My order was supposed to be completed before I got there. I had to wait 30 minutes for my $30 order. I am a patient person, so I didn’t mind waiting, but that doesn’t mean this problem don’t need to be fixed. Respectfully.
