Co-workers & I went for a quick lunch break & was still able to catch brunch! I got the Lox Bagel & he got Omelet & Potatoes. There is so much flavor in that Lox! Nice atmosphere as well. I wish there was more than one restroom, though!!!! ♀️

Really great place to have a nice cup of coffee and some food for brunch. My wife and I both had veggie sandwiches. She had a matcha latte and I had an iced latte. The service was great as was the food. Great atmosphere. We’ll be back!

Located in frisco in a very nice area! Service was a bit slow and we had to go up and ask for our food after waiting for around 30 minutes (they forgot to bring it to us).

I get coffee and bagels from here all the time, actually one of my favorite coffees shops locally but today I found a giant piece of plastic wrapper in my cream cheese while I was eating my bagel… they mix the cream cheese in house so there’s no quality control over something like that but imagine if it was smaller and I actually ate it and swallowed it, as if we don’t have enough plastics in our food. Probably won’t be ordering food from here for awhile.

The food was good and the atmosphere was friendly until my son asked if his burger could be made over because he didn’t care for the sauce. The manager came over with a very condescending tone saying she checked the ticket and didn’t see it was ordered without the sauce. She also said in the future, if you don’t want the sauce make sure to order that way. Brought my son food to table, he said thank you and she didn’t have the professionalism to respond. Needless to say we won’t be back and I’ll make sure to tell my friends and families this location is not customer friendly.

Can we please get the old team back? – We have been coming to this place almost everyday for coffee for the last 2 years – THIS IS HOW MUCH WE LOVE THIS PLACE! And I hate to rate it so low because it has REALLY gone downhill after certain changes in the team. Wait times are crazy for coffee even with little occupancy, croissants are not fresh and they didn’t toast it despite several requests to do so. Service is bad and rude.

Ascension star has been our go to breakfast place for the past two years. However, the dine in service has deteriorated significantly over the past four weeks. The wait times for lattes, even when it is at 50% occupancy are over 40 minutes. And when they bring your lattes after 40 minutes, they need to be reminded that you also ordered a couple of croissants that they have forgotten about. We LOVE THIS PLACE. PLEASE DO SOMETHING TO FIX THE BROKEN SERVICE.

We went there at about 3 pm. The place was a mess. Many dirty dishes on tables from the lunch crowd earlier. Crumbs were everywhere including tables, chairs, and benches. The tables needed to be bussed and were not. The floor had a lot of trash and needed to be swept. The girl taking our order was rude. I said, “Hello” and did not get a response. She acted like doing her job taking our order was an inconvenience. The coffee was good but the place was dirty and honestly gross!

Ready to spend 30min for a 2/3 full cup of latte? The break down: 10min waiting in line with no one taking orders, 5min talking to the barista who freaked out and no clue about my questions about coffee menu items, 15min waiting for a regular latte. The coffee is 1/2 full and not enough for my few sips. Thought it would be a quick trip but ended up staying there for 30min for nothing.

I used to love their coffee and food. Lately this place has gone downhill. Last week we came in for 4 coffee drinks to go and it took about 15mins wait. Today our group finished our food and still no coffee. Just not worth it anymore.
