The place was filthy. I walked in and used their bathroom. I felt worse coming out then when I entered. When I got back to my table my wife said their prices were high and the food did not look good. With the view of their bathrooms and then the high prices, we left.

Service was terrible. The waiter was new uneducated and had no personality. The food was disgusting. I got the chicken fried steak and when it was brought out I was then told they didn’t have brown gravy, what they did top it off with smelled like vomit. I couldn’t eat at all. My daughter could smell it across the table and lost her appetite. It was a total waste of money. This place looks like it is going under by the second. With all the people everywhere if you are not busy in this town there s a reason. I handle horrible service or even horrible food but to have both no thanks. Don’t waste your time here go to badlands saloon just down the sidewalk for the best food and service in the whole area.

This was the worst dining experience I have ever had. The food was awful. Basically over-priced little league ballpark concession stand food. Our meal for 4 people (hamburgers and chicken tenders) was over $70. The hamburger patties were rubber and the fries were frozen fries cooked in old grease. The condiments were fast food packets and the drinks were canned sodas. The cafe was nasty. There was an old sink sitting in the corner in the dining area! While there were very few customers in the cafe, the wait for service was long and we were made to feel like we were asking for too much when we asked for condiments for our plain dried out burgers . Don’t make the same mistake we did thinking you can beat the crowds at Wall Drug by eating here. Standing in line is worth it compared to the sub-par over-priced food options at this cafe.

The service was sub psr. As we sat down a group of 8 we’re complaining about the food. We ordered fish and chips. The fish were fish sticks even though they said it was not. The hamburger was mostly onions. They had a very small selection of sauces with the chicken strips.

The service was, in my experience, somewhat better than your standard pandemic-level service. The waiter was actually pleasant. We expected slow service but weren’t at all put out by it because we were not in any kind of rush and understand the reality of service in our new normal. We would have been very happy with slow, courteous service and decent food (let’s face it, it’s Wall, SD).

Food was mediocre at best and it was definitely different than every other restaurant. We were told to sit wherever we want and the menu’s were odd. Mine had a burnt hole through it and my mothers wasn’t laminated like the others were. The drinks came in cans and the food was overpriced. My food was like something I’d warm up in my microwave for myself. Overall, it wasn’t bad per say but it wasn’t good either.

I don’t usually write many reviews but this had to be the worst customer service that never even started. My husband and I stopped in the cafe for breakfast with another couple and we were never greeted. There was another group of 3 having breakfast and no other customers.. the waitress was in the back of room sitting in a booth she went to the customers that were eating about three times and never acknowledged our group at all not even a Hello. We had been waiting about 10 minutes and I was ready to walk out the first few times we gave it about 5 minutes more and left. If you don’t want to work or have staffing issues just close the cafe.

I should have taken warning from the previous reviews and left when we had the chance. But we felt for the server that was working the whole floor by herself. We weren’t in any hurry and had been happy to just find a restaurant that didn’t have a long line.

Honestly, most of the reviews here say it all, and I wish I read them beforehand. The only good thing I could say is the waitress was hardworking and trying to do her best. The rest didn’t go well. They had a small amount of staff which meant an extraordinarily long wait time, and one of them didn’t seem to be doing anything at all which didn’t help. My first order came out wrong and the second one came out burnt. The food just tasted mediocre and the water I ordered was just being dispensed from a Lowe’s water cooler near the table. The design of the place was so gray, sad, and not welcoming whatsoever. The place didn’t seem to be cleaned well and was awfully quiet. There wasn’t any music which just added to the sadness of the place. Please treat this place like actual cactus and stay away from it. There are way better cafes in Wall you can go to.
