Have you ever been seated in a restaurant and quickly realize you’re in the wrong section? Time has stopped here. There’s a lack of genuine joy in your being there as a customer, and you’re treated more as a bother. Whereas on the other side of the restaurant, there’s good natured banter between the staff and the customers.

Food was really good with everything what we ordered. We enjoyed it a lot and it was one of the best mexican food we have eaten in Minnesota. There was not much waiting time and chips and salsa was served until food arrived. Interior is also cozy and has nice paintings, one of them really funny of a dancing couple.

We came here for lunch and the service was friendly and excellent. The food was good. Above all, the meats were well seasoned and well cooked so the food was good. I docked a star because their salsa isn’t traditional salsa, more of like a seasoned tomato sauce, and I felt like some of the sides (rice, beans) could have been better. Would have loved some pico de Gallo with the fajitas.

A present surprise. I went to Northfield to watch my grandson playing for Carleton College. After the game, 6 of us went to dinner at El Tequila. It was new to me, and it’s a bland storefront restaurant. But the food was excellent and plentiful at a fair price. We were stuffed including the 3 twenty something 6′ + athletes, for under $90. Boy can they eat.

I’m a truck driver ordered through doordash ordered fajitas didn’t get the tortillas to eat it with or silverware to eat it with. Driver got it to me quick (15 min) but was cold.

Am very disappointed in this restaurant, I made an order and it went through new Prague by accident, the guy in new Prague told me i could talk to the people at northfield because is a family restaurant, the guy that came on the phone said he cant talk to me and hang up,while the guy at new prague was so polite and assured me that it will be sort out once am able to talk to the one in northfield because is a family restaurant. Very unprofessional and i will never go there again or request it for anyone that i know.
