It was the best of times; it was the worst of times. This dining experience was definitely a tale of two restaurants. On the one hand, the food was excellent. The soup was tasty and the dressing on the salad was tangy and quite good. The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, with the sides of fried rice, noodles and vegetables all very good. The portion was also plentiful. However, the atmosphere left a lot to be desired. It was particularly noisy, even by Hibachi restaurant standards, with kids running all over the place. In addition, the place was freezing. It felt like the air conditioner was on, even though it was winter. I recommend this place if you want a good hibachi meal. Just be sure to bring ear plugs and a portable space heater.

The Hibachi experience always brings a smile to my face. First you get to watch the masters of the Hibachi table at work. They perform some tricks and get the crowd involved. Can you catch a piece of a random vegetable in your mouth? What about a squirt of Sake? The chefs at Nikko don’t disappoint and neither does the food they prepare. So even if you’re not there for the show, expect an enjoyable dining experience.

I didn’t care for how close/tight the chairs were to each other, I was basically back-to-back with the person behind me. I ordered 2 white sangria’s, the 2nd glass was larger and tasted better than the 1st. A friend ordered a lycee martini that came in a regular glass and the taste was completely off, mind you they were just there the day before and ordered the same thing. The drink was replaced with plum wine (menu stated $8) in a very small glass but it was said that they couldn’t remove the martini from the bill. Overall, I wasn’t pleased with the service or the presentation whatsoever, not sure if I’ll return for a 2nd opinion/chance.

We were very disappointed. Be aware they charge a $20 fee if you bring your own birthday cake!? After we bought a cake we couldn’t use it!!! Also they take very long to bring food and cook hibachi! They also fogot to bring soup and salad!! Will Not come back!!

Been there a few times. Hibach table food and experience consistently good. 2x we ate hibachi food but at a regular table. First time it was good, same as at hibachi table. 2nd time, which was Mothers day 2023, the food was pretty bad. Noodles cold. Everything looked like it had been sitting around for a while.
