As a tourist who has been to both the Flatiron and Downtown locations, this Flatiron location falls a bit short compared to Downtown, but on its own is a great place for a pasta and pizza lunch, well with a trip.

Pretty good Italian food for reasonable price, especially with the Eataly restaurant feast that ended yesterday – but I believe it will be back soon. The service is a little slow. Highly recommend you book a reservation since the line can get pretty long. It is located in the Eataly market so great place to browse for Italian produce after your meal.

The hostess is very rude. Not fit to be in the hospitality/service industry. The server also charged us $8 for a bottle of still water when we asked for tap… Sadly the food was really good but never coming here again. Only can give 2 stars despite the food, because of the staff and service issues.

Eataly is a good outlet with a lot of groceries and produce as well as restaurants. We went to La Pizza & La Pasta. We had reservations and we got a seat pretty instantly. The place is bustling and can be overwhelming as there are multiple restaurants in there. We tried the focaccia bread and gnocchi for the antipasti and the bread was really good. For the next course we had the pizza with white truffle and it was really delicious. The crust was one of the softest and thinnest I’ve seen. The real blockbuster was the Tiramisu which was very good as well. Overall a really good place to try!!

Nice place to hang out with others, eat, drink. You can talk and hear others since it’s not noisy or there is not loud music. The staff members were very gentle with us at all times. The food was delicious. I tried the pizza and the gnocchi. They were both awesome. Dessert and coffee were amazing too.

We had a reservation and the hostess was friendly. The server was attentive, but only at the beginning. Ordered the arancini and calamari – both were really good. The pomodoro had the right amount of saltiness to it; any more and it would have been too salty. The salad was light and refreshing. 3 stars because we never got the carbonara we ordered or more water. The server would have known that if she ever came back after taking our food order.

The lasagna is delicious!!! It may look small but it’s very fulfilling. The ravioli in the butter sauce with pistachios is also really good. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan pizza (not pictured), so good!!! The crust is soft and warm, fresh out the oven.

My favorite spot in NYC for pasta! Service is great, food is amazing!! The wine is very pricey, but delicious. Both the Flatiron location and the 9/11 location are excellent. I’ve been to both several times, highly recommend!

Practical and easy but a bit loud, crowded and the ravioli was a bit undercooked. waiters were overwhelmed. Expensive for what it is.
