We stopped at Pops to have breakfast on the way to Lewis and Clark Caverns. It wasn’t to busy so we sat down right away. Didn’t have to wait long for our food either. It’s quick diner food but it was tasty.

The breakfast was very plain but not badly done. The main reason I gave this restaurant one star is its SERVER. The rudest most harsh and unwanted hag of a lady I ever met. Let alone served by. We are very respectful and easy going customers. She argued with us over sweeten low because it is unhealthy, literally trying to not let us have some. The snide and rude unwanted comments kept coming. Then she gave us our bill and prices did not match the menus and she added 5 dollars on top of the already up charged meals. she was adamant she counted right. We paid because we did not want to deal with her and left.

Service was great – server very friendly and quick and setup was nice. Very casual which is my preference. Second time trying it over a few years…food is not good. Husband got the breakfast burger patty and it was raw, eggs over done. I got the eggs Benedict and the taste was off but more so, the eggs were under with the white goopy yuck. Daughters French toast was okay. $53 for the 3 meals seemed high to me considering the quality.

Stopped here with our one year old today. She’s been fighting allergies and was in a tremendous mood. Laughing and waving at all the guests and waitress. She screamed once when my husband took her water cup away because she was tilting it and spilling. She screamed once more when she dropped her straw. The second waitress complained loud enough for the entire place to hear. “Somebody needs to shut that damn kid up”. Needless to say, we will never stop here again. Extremely rude, especially when she wasn’t crying or fussing besides those two short screams. The food was cold and subpar- had to ask for my coffee twice and silverware. They weren’t busy so it was odd that they were so out of sorts.

The waitress that about slapped me with a menu for looking at the lunch side during breakfast oughta retire. We just walked out. If you hate your job quit.

I come up every summer and I make it a point to stop here. Food is always amazing. I always get the BLT. They’re curly fries and onion rings are great !! Would definitely recommend stopping here.

This is the best place ever to eat. The staff are amazing and the food is better than home cooking for sure. They offer catering and just great friendly family oriented people. I highly recommend pops to eat or just have a cup of coffee and get fast friendly service o matter the reason you stop. Stop by and say hello to Tim and Connie Clark.
