Thought about writing this since yesterday and decided it needed said. I got a 12 piece meal. It was to come with 3 large sides. If those were large I’d hate to see their small. The chicken was good, the sides weren’t bad, just scrimped on size. The coleslaw container and the mashed potatoes were 1/2 full. Very disappointing! The young man at the drivethru was very pleasant and friendly.

Went inside to place order for 8 pc family meal, all dark extra cripsy. Had to tell counter person twice what i wanted due to fact was more interested in conversation on headset. Got food drove 30 minutes home to find out i got original mixed. I should not have to check my order when i was only person in store and no one in drive thru. If the employees and management cared about doing the job they were hired to do and do it properly, this location would do more business and not be on the brink of shutdown if they keep going the way they are.

I wish I could rate the food but I was not provided any service. On 07-29-2023 @ 3pm I entered the KFC off 2nd in Edmond near OU Hospital. I first went to the men’s room to wash up then proceeded to the counter. Two employees were talking and sweeping up with their backs facing me talking loudly about personal items while another employee was sitting at the table 6 feet behind me playing on his phone. I waited at the counter for a couple minutes and no one acknowledged that I was there. The employee behind me looked up at me but never said a word, did not bother to get the others attention, or even acknowledge I was present. He also watched me as I left and still did not speak up to try and keep me in the restaurant. Very Dissatisfied and dissappointed with the service at this KFC. I guess that is why they had no one else there, no customers. Lots of chicken pre made but no one to feed it to. I hope management or the owners read this review. If you want to make money, you need to change the culture in that restaurant! I went to Taco Bell next door and got waited on instantly… HUGE difference.

I rarely write an online review, but felt compelled to do so in this case. The KFC on 2nd street in Edmond is so poorly managed. I have had many bad experiences there. In my last visit, they didn’t have any white meat chicken available and when I asked the counter person when they would have some available (I told him I was willing to wait), the counter person couldn’t tell me when they would fry up additional chicken. His response was that they only had two people working. I certainly understand that issue, but I have had these kind of issues many times with this store. So, I said thank you and left. I would not recommend this store to anyone. If you like KFC, like I do, maybe find another one in your area!

Went through the drive-thru this evening at 7:45 and got a 3 chicken strip dinner. It was inedible. The chicken strips were old and dried out, like they were fried yesterday and sat under a heat lamp for hours. Biscuit was so dry, I couldn’t even bite into it. I’ve never had an issue before, but this was really bad. Threw it in the trash. Money wasted!

I placed an online order for an 8-piece bucket just after 5 pm, and was told it would be ready at 5:30. I got there a couple minutes early and was told they needed to make the chicken, and it would be ready in 10 minutes. Other people came in after me and got orders larger than mine. Finally at 5:45 I walked inside to see what the problem is. One guy behind the counter said it still wasn’t ready, but then another one asked my name again and then handed me an 8-piece bucket. But when I got home, it was the wrong kind (original instead of extra crispy).

We decided on a whim to stop and get a family meal and it was great. Our family is large so we got 2 buckets of chicken. I believe 16 pieces with all the sides. Chicken is great and ny favorite is the coleslaw.

Do not go to this location. They have the worst service, and there is always something wrong with their fryers or their computers. Nothing ever works. The team members don’t seem to care right along with management. It shows! They are not worth the 1 star.
